This summer has been, well, crap. We had a glimpse of summer in June (when I was away) and since then, diddly squat! I am crossing every finger and toe for an Indian Summer but knowing our luck, it’ll be a long winter, yet again! So, I am just going to try to be positive and look forward to Autumn!
So, here’s the Autumn Trends I am Actually Looking Forward To!
Autumn is the time to dig out your fave berry colours. From nail polish to lip shades and so many more!
I love berry colours for scarves and knitwear! I have already started gathering my knitwear and organising it at the front of my wardrobes!
Missguided do berry SO well! I love the colours, it really suits all skin tones! My longed for tan fades into oblivion by Autumn so my ghostly pale skin loves a good berry knit!
I am OBSESSED with boots! I must have about ten different pairs. Heeled boots are my saviour for the colder months and there is nothing better than a super comfy pair of boots for the day time. I love a pair of boots that feel like slippers! My job requires me to be on my feet for almost 9 hours a day so when I can switch up my footwear to comfy boots, you get happy Rosie!
I love boots with woolly tights, long scarves, all the knitted dresses and massive scarves!
I am so excited!
During the Spring and Summer i saw the growth of the statement and slogan T shirt! I love nothing more than a white shirt, loose and splattered with a funny or ironic slogan. I have already bought my Tinsel Tits shirt dress from Boohoo for Christmas.
While this isn’t an exclusive Autumn trend, it is one I am so excited to get on board with!
I also love the culture of casual and smart casual. Back in the day you had to seriously dress up, heels and all, to seem smart/formal. These days any outfit can be dressed up by simply changing your accessories and footwear. So, expect to see me in loads and loads of slogan T’s this season to salt yourselves silly!
I LOVE knitwear! I am obsessed by massive over sized jumpers and cute little sweaters. Autumn for me is all about jumper dresses, huge massive scarves and chunky boots.
I love for dark colours and over sized everything – the only blessing of all that food you have to eat in Autumn to, erm, stay warm!?
What are the Autumn trends you’re looking forward to?
