GLO32 Teeth Whitening | First Impressions

*AD – this post contains gifted items, but opinions are all my own

Spoiler alert – my wedding has been postponed due to the bloody COVID-19 outbreak. My wedding plans went out the window before March ended and so did my self care plans. However, lots of time has now gone under the bridge and I finally feel ready to get my bride on again. Luckily, I’ve paired up with GLO32 to get my wedding smile as beautiful as possible! Here are my GLO32 first impressions!

First Impressions

As a blogger, I’ve done many different at-home teeth whitening courses and some have been good, some have been utter rubbish!

However, I’ve had my eye on GLO32 and their coconut infused teeth whitening for some time. As a bride (now for a little longer than originally planned) I have definitely looked into how I can make myself feel the best and look the best on my big day. I’ve even looked into teeth straightening with non-invasive retainers.

A non-toxic, safe to enamel teeth whitening kit that can be done at home kind of ticks all of my boxes right now.

The add on of coconut infusion into this kit from GLO32 is a big win for me. Some teeth whitening kits can be far too harsh on my little toothie pegs but coconut infusion is far more gentle and natural – anything that you’re putting in your mouth should be as natural as possible!

Advanced Whitening System

The good thing, on first glance, about this kit from GLO is that it doesn’t just contain teeth whitening strips for your top and bottom teeth, it also contains a teeth whitening pen. Both items are coconut infused.

I personally love the add-on of the teeth whitening pen – it’s a stilo that you simply “write on” your teeth with. You swipe it across your teeth each day, at least once but GLO32 advise you do it as much as three times.

For me, the overuse of teeth whitening strips can actually lead to damage on the inside of my mouth. I have no clue why my mouth is so sensitive but I’ve used strips before that have cut into my gums and inner mouth – so to be on the side of caution, I am happy to top up my new white smile with a pen that will be less invasive!

Application

For the strips:
– tear the wrapper gently so as not to destroy the strips
– use a mirror to apply the longer strip to your top teeth and the shorter strip to your bottom teeth
– leave on for 20-30 minutes – I recommend lying on your bed and scrolling endlessly through Instagram while you wait
– once your time is up, gently remove the strips, brush the excess gel into your teeth and rinse your mouth with water

For the pen:
– twist the base of the pen to get the gel onto the brush
– apply a generous layer to your teeth but make sure to avoid your gums
– leave on for 10-15 minutes
– Rinse water once your time is up
