Royal Windsor At Christmas

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you’ll know that my little home town of Windsor has been in the news quite a bit. We’ll be proudly hosting the Wedding of the Year in 2018 in our humble little town and I cannot wait! I’ve already booked the day off work and the amount of blog content I ALREADY have planned is a bit insane! So, I thought, it being the run up to Christmas, I’d share what my beautifully leafy and quaint home town looks like on the run up to Christmas!

Enjoy, Royal Windsor at Christmas!

Windsor is right on the River Thames and it is so beautiful at this time of year when the Sun goes so low so early. These shots were snapped on the bridge between Windsor and Eton and the entire bridge is adorned with fairy lights and a Christmas tree at each end!
There’s nothing like that crisp cold weather to make you feel Festive is there!

As the sun goes down in Windsor it’s lovely to see all of the local buildings and hotels decorated with their best Christmas attire!

My town is beautiful! All the way up the high street are Christmas lights shaped like crowns for the Royals. There are open crackers, trees and beautiful bulbs everywhere!

We’re very proud to be the town that homes to the Queen and you can tell by the lights!

I cannot WAIT for Harry and Meghan’s nuptials in St. George’s Chapel inside Windsor castle in May next year. I will be bringing you as much Windsor-ness as I can – so stay tuned!
