A Post-Valentine’s At Home Date Night With Nivea

Just because Valentine’s Day is over does not mean you should stop showing your love for that special someone – or yourself. In my house, Valentine’s Day isn’t a massive deal but this year we went all out. However, the love doesn’t stop because the clock strikes midnight. The fun continues with the help of Nivea. The Checklist

The lovely team at Nivea sent out a full on checklist to all in the Nivea family.

These are my favourite things from the checklist:

• fancy outfits picked – we will 100% be getting dressed up for out post V Day night in
• Skin prepped – hello, I’m a skincare blogger! If my skin isn’t pampered and prepped, I’m not doing my job right, am I?
• Candles lit – if you know me, you’ll know that I am candle obsessed. There’s not a room in my house that a scented candle isn’t burning if I’m in it. Set the mood, make it smell amazing, yep and yep.
• PJs on after dinner – anyone else super excited to get dressed up and then buzzing to get back into their PJs? What has lockdown done to me!?

This 1 minute mask is perfect for any guy who likes to look good but doesn’t want to devote too much time to it.

My man is the prime example of this. He’s gorgeous but my God, he is fortunate. The man barely moisturises, he drinks plenty of water but only since we got together did he take on things like exfoliating, scrubbing, moisturising and taking care of yourself.

Now, I don’t think I’ll catch him sitting with his feet up on the sofa with one of my sheet masks on any time soon but I know that when he gets in from a run and draws a bath, he’ll apply this one minute mask and his skin will reap the benefits.

This gel is super soft and a little goes a long way. Perfect for any gentleman who is time-poor. With a flick of your wrist, this gel covers your face and fights signs of dryness and irritation instantly.

It has a lovely, cold jelly texture that smothers your skin. You can really feel your face drinking in every part of it.

Like all other Nivea products, you don’t need to pile it on for it to work. It’s nice and buildable if you need a little more attention.

I love a good face mask. I have so many that I try each month and the lazy girl in me loves a sheet mask. This Nourishing Mask is a creamy formula that you apply directly to the skin on your face and top of your neck for a plump rejuvenation of moisture.

I love this mask for that end of the week feeling where my skin feels dull and lifeless. It instantly makes my skin feel soft, plump and glowy!
