Egg-citing Easter Craft Ideas for Toddlers!

Easter weekend is almost upon us. Come Friday 29th April, we’ll be able to enjoy a long weekend of Easter eggs, sunshine and more. To get us all in the mood for Easter, I’ve put together 5 fun ideas for crafting with your toddler. Easter is a wonderful time to get creative with your little ones and celebrate the joy of spring. From fluffy bunnies to colourful eggs, there are endless possibilities for adorable Easter crafts that toddlers will love. So, grab your glue sticks and let’s hop into some egg-citing craft ideas that are sure to make this Easter extra special!

Easter Egg Decorating

Let’s start with a classic – decorating Easter eggs! Whether you’re using traditional dye or getting fancy with stickers and markers, decorating Easter eggs is a fun and creative activity that toddlers of all ages can enjoy. Bonus is that you’ll be helping to grow their motor skills with the peeling & sticking of stickers.

Set up a designated egg decorating station with plenty of supplies and let your little ones unleash their imagination. From polka dots to stripes to silly faces, the possibilities are endless! This one is a great opportunity to let them play independently and let their imagination run wild. There are no rules, just connection through play.

Paper Plate Easter Bunny

Transform ordinary paper plates into adorable Easter bunnies with this simple craft idea. Have your little ones paint the paper plates in pastel colours, then add googly eyes, a pom-pom nose, and paper ears. You can even glue on some cotton balls for a fluffy tail! These cute bunny faces are perfect for hanging on the wall or displaying as Easter decorations.

We love a craft like this for that annoying time before dinner is ready. I stick Jack in the highchair and let him go creatively wild while I cobble together our evening meal.

Easter Egg Carton Chicks
