Introducing Urtekram & Their Tune In Range

Is there one scent that instantly transports you back to a time of joy? How about a fragrance that makes you feel peaceful? Smells are incredibly powerful but so is sustainability in skincare and haircare. Recently, I joined Urtekram’s virtual event to launch their Tune In Lavender range. Here is my full introduction of their incredible line.

Who Are Urtekram?

Pronounced ER-TEK-KRIM, this Denmark brand is the country’s most sustainable brand. You may have spotted this unique name in high street stores and in some online chains.

Sustainability is at their heart as well as the creation of great, organic products for all. As a nation, the Scandinavians seem to be one step ahead than a lot of the rest of the world when it comes to their products and their packaging.

The Urtekram ethos is one that I am ready to get more involved with. Their passion for less production waste, plastic free packaging, reusable and green fuel – they use only solar power in their factories and stores; and less energy consumption.

Introducing The Tune In Rage

Today’s post is all about the brand new Tune In range is infused completely with natural lavender. If you’ve ever visited my blog before, you’ll know that lavender is my favourite scent, I use it every night to help my unwind and sleep. I’m addicted and it’s a natural fragrance that doesn’t cause any harm.

Tune In comprises of:

– Soothing Body Lotion
– Soothing Body Wash
– Hand Wash

The Tune In range has one goal: to soothe.

I’ve been using the range for just over 4 weeks and let me tell you, it soothes!

My Tune In Highlights

Urtekram promises for shiny, healthy and stripped back hair after just a few uses of their shampoo and conditioner.

Brilliantly, this new formula is 99% vegan friendly with a fresh scent of lavender. While it’s not the foamiest shampoo I’ve ever used, my hair has NEVER looked so shiny or felt so lightweight.

In place of parabens and artificial fragrances and oils, Urtekram uses only natural sources. Within just a few washes, my hair was smiling. My hair follicles felt less tight, my tresses felt less stresses and oily and I found myself being able to go days longer between washes.

So far, I’ve used the shampoo solo and it’s had great results. But when you pair the shampoo and conditioner, your hair will come alive! It will radiate a halo of fresh lavender, shine like it’s brand new hair and bounce like it’s never been weighed down in its life.

To activate the shampoo, you will need to apply it to your hands and foam it up manually. Unlike its non-vegan counterparts, it doesn’t foam up as soon as it hits your hair.

Extra Urtekram Bits

What I love about Urtekram is that lots of their products can be used for many different uses.

During the virtual launch, we were encouraged to use a pea sized amount of the body lotion into the ends of our hair. Sounds crazy, right?! Normally, my hair is dry, it was due a wash and I’ve never EVER applied any kind of lotion for my body in my hair.

But I listened to the Urtekram brand leaders and applied it. I then continued to do it to my dry hair periodically over the next four or so weeks.

And do you know what?

The ends of my hair have completely been transformed!

Of course, my split ends and heat damage hasn’t disappeared but they are much healthier. They are less flyaway, get much lass tangled and give my hair that just cut look. Who knew!?

Personally, am loving Urtekram’s Tune In range! Since trialling this amazing brand, I’ve been using their items in my shower or bath before heading to bed to help me drift off and it really does the trick.

This is a brand I can really get behind and I encourage you to, too!
