Summer Wedding Season is here and it’s a hot one.
We are in the middle of a three month-long heat wave and England is a browny yellow colour – not to mention the dead grass! We are positively wilting in this lovely heat and with Wedding Season upon us, it is proving so difficult to get that Wedding Outfit that wont melt you, show up your inevitable sweat patches or make you look ridiculous.

Treating myself

I don’t know about you, but any sort of Wedding or Christening is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up. Any occasion is a great chance to treat myself to new accessories and look my best. These dates are highlights in my calendar so I like to take my time and find the best outfits!

Outfit shopping

When shopping for these events, I always go hard or go home. No little wonder around the shops, casually strolling up the high street with no clue. No, no, no. These days call for online shopping, full on treating of one’s self and doing it right!
I don’t do casual well on these days either. I can be such a Casual Camilla in my day to day life, no thrills, plain Jane… but Weddings are for Prom Dresses and Ball Gowns.

With Quiz, there is SO much choice – even for someone as extra as me! I love their blush pink numbers as that’s a colour that really compliments my summer skin!
All of us can’t pull off a full length dress – I am definitely a start-in-heels-bring-flip-flops-just-in-case girl so floor length and me don’t always get on! Nothing makes a beautiful dress look scruffy like it trailing on the floor behind you!
So, I’ve easily picked some knee length or even some just below the knee length dresses that would still flatter all sizes and not swelter in the heat!
