Hallelujah, nail shops and salons are open once again! Pamper time can happen whenever we like once again – and it is so needed. If you want to stay ahead of the trends and show off your nails, you need to read all of my top nail art trends for 2021! From one nail art lover to another…

Graphic Details

If you want to embrace the bold this year, graphic details are you go-to. You can be as unique and out there as you like and your nail technician will love the freedom of being able to create different prints, styles and textures with your nails.
This look is super easy to try at home too because it doesn’t have to be super uniform or neat.
Gingham For Grown Ups

Even though summer feels like a long way off (hello hail stones in May), gingham nails are everywhere right now. A super cute detail that can be applied to all nails or just one. You can mix and match colours and layers to make the look completely your own.
Bonus is, this style looks gorgeous on even very short nails.
Marble Nails

If you’re a blogger, you’ll know that marble NEVER goes out of fashion! Marble used to be the most sought after backdrop, phone case and trend in the blogging world. Now that there are loads of tutorials on YouTube & TikTok to show you how to achieve this look, it’s everywhere.
This look is really versatile, you can mix darker, moodier colours with lighter flecks and add some gold hints too. Another nail art trend that doesn’t have to look perfect on every nail, so you can get away with being creative and a bit messy.
Animal Print

I am LOVER of animal print nails. Last year, I painted my nails in every animal print you can imagine. You guys really liked these cow print nails that I did in the Autumn. I also went for the classic leopard print, zebra print and even tried giraffe styled blobs.
Everywhere I go when my nails look like this, I get compliments and stopped for a chat. They really are show-stopper nails for 2021!
Colour Block French Manicures

I don’t know about you, but I love a classic French manicure. The white tips on groomed nails do it for me. But, if you’re more adventurous and want to jazz up a classic, this is the look you need to go for. You can change up the colours, the density and the uniformity which, again, makes it perfect for getting creative at home.
I’ve played around with this look by applying the same shocking blue to all nails and also changing it up to show off all of my pastel shades. My favourite pastel nail brand being Mavala, they just tick every box for me.
Pastel Rainbow

You can taste the rainbow but in a classic and muted way this summer with this look. Pastel nails, in my opinion, will never go out of fashion and I love this look for a quick freshen up. Perfect for when we eventually get to fly away for a sun soaked summer trip.
Pick a brand that will last the test of time. If you’re like me, you will remove the whole thing once one nail doesn’t look perfect!
Nude & Neon

Neon and summer go together like peas and carrots in my book. The not-so subtle look is exactly what I’m after this summer. The neon pops will make your tan look gorgeous and the nude will calm the whole look down for work.
Neon is always a good idea, I think!

Stay ahead of the trends with my 7 nail art ideas for summer. Stand out in the right way and slay, slay slay!
Which one of my picks is your favourite?
