Olsson Hair Care Final Review

It’s all about hair growth and health in today’s blog post and this one has been weeks in the making! You may remember me telling you all about Olsson Hair Care a few weeks back, well today I am finally sharing my final result sand verdict. It’s going to be a juicy one!

Let’s Talk Hair

My hair is my pride and joy and throughout lockdown, I taught myself how to curl my hair with straighteners as well as use masks more often. My hair went heat free for a time and it has been the healthiest part of my body this year!

Hair care is something that I take very seriously and I love Olsson’s ethos of helping all hair and skin types and being certified by associations who look after people with allergies.

My Verdict of Olsson

It’s simple. I LOVE Olsson hair care!

Their shampoo and conditioner are fragrance free, thick and luxurious but very easy to work with and wash out.

Since using their shampoo (every three days) my hair has never felt cleaner! The product doesn’t foam up like regular shampoo brands but it doesn’t need to. A little goes a long way and it coats your hair with a few swishes of your wrist. My hair felt smooth and easy to work with after just a few washes.

The shampoo is thick enough to cover your hair but not too thick that it feels like it’ll never rinse out. In fact, the shampoo rinses out really quickly and your hair feels clean instantly.

The conditioner is super creamy and a little bit goes a long way.

As soon as you cover your hair in Olsson’s conditioner, you can feel it working. The conditioner helped to keep my hair smooth for days! I like to stretch out my hair wash days so that my own natural hair oils contribute to my overall hair health.

Often, when using Olsson, on day 3 of hair and my usual hair wash day, my hair didn’t feel dirty enough!

My hair usually gets greasy in the same places – the crown and above my ears. Do not ask me why my crown gets greasy every singles time, it just does. The hair above my ears get greasy, I assume, because it’s the area I play with the most!

But, with Olsson, often these areas never felt dirty, look greasy or felt as if they required a good scrub!

My hair felt clean in an instant and it stayed feeling clean for days and days!

Would I buy Olsson Hair Care?

100000% YES!

I actually am really reluctant to use any other hair brand for my shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner.

During my Olsson trial, I had to use other brands once or twice and my hair hated it! My hair felt heavy, chalky and unhappy as well as really hard to work with!

I will definitely be buying Olsson hair products again – in fact, I’ve already got bits in my basket ready to go!

Olsson’s Stand Out Product

For me, the stand out product from all that I’ve tried with Olsson has to be their spray, leave-in conditioner!

Their leave-in conditioner has been the ultimate game changer for my hair!

By adding a few spritzes to my hair after a wash and while it is still damp, I’ve completely changed how manageable my hair is. I simply spritz and brush it through from root to tip.

I usually leave my hair to dry naturally (unless I’m styling it) but once that leave-in conditioner was in, my hair dried into a soft, silky tangle of gorgeous hair. Instantly. I know I’ve said instantly a lot in this post, but yep, instantly!

I used to the leave-in conditioner after every single hair wash and my hair was transformed in the best possible!
