An Ode To Green People With Alexandra Kay’s Collection

It was a sad day in the beauty and skincare world recently when Green People’s Alexandra passed away following a battle with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. As you know, Green People are one of my favourite brands to work with and they felt that the sad events wouldn’t dampen the launch of the Alexandra Kay collection. Here is my ode to Green People and full review.

What’s In The Range?

I would describe the range as “Time To…”. There are so many scents and oils that remind you that it’s time to relax, indulge or spoil yourself.

The range includes essential oil blends and body oils perfect for some extra luxury on weekdays.

When it comes to Green People, no matter the product, you are guaranteed amazing and consistent products. They take so much care with every part of the production from the research, sustainability, packaging, scents, and multi-uses. Green People are a one-stop-shop for incredible skincare that matches my ethos of being sustainable but without breaking the bank.

ALEXANDRA KAY TIME TO SOOTHE SCENT FREE BODY

Straight off the bat, this gorgeous soothing body oil is packaging goals, isn’t it?

I love muted tones, whites, and pinks and the labeling on this is perfect!

The Time To Soothe Body Oil is infused with delicious-smelling rosehip oil and hemp. It layers upon your skin gently to create an incredibly strong barrier of moisture on your skin.

This oil is loose without being sloppy and is fragranced so beautifully – I’ve found myself taking my time to massage it into my skin and really enjoying the extra minutes of me-time. A perfect oil for massage, a little goes a long way and you can really feel it working on your skin.

My Thoughts On It…

I’ve been using this delicate oil on my skin after my evening baths and showers for over a month now. My skin has been slowly transitioning from that hot spell into more cooler, damper temperatures. With it, I’ve had breakouts, dry spots, and trouble working out what to wear each day.

This oil has worked towards gently calming my skin. I’ve used it all over my body – simply because it smells so good and a tiny bit goes a long way, I can’t help but lather myself up in it!

My legs look and seem calmer, the angry patches of dry skin pre and post-shave are a thing of the past. My face looks radiant without having a Krispy Kreme sheen all day long.

A Word About Green People

Green People has a place very close to my heart because it was founded by a mummy trying to solve her young daughter’s eczema and skin allergies.

After years of research and development, Green People was born. They’ve never tested on animals and have 100% natural ingredients in all of their products.

This ethos has resulted in an incredibly loyal following.

Sadly, Green People recently suffered the loss of someone crucial and inspirational – Alexendra, the young daughter whose skin conditions inspired the entire brand.

It’s with a heavy heart that I write this but I want to send my love to everyone at Green People.
