Let’s talk comfy clothes shall we? As you probably know from previous pyjama shaped posts, I love nothing more than being comfortable. I am still working full time at home (more than ever, I would say) but I am enjoying being in the comfort of my own home – and I am especially loving not having to wear my stuffy work clothes and be comfy all day long! Today, I am sharing some of the best lockdown loungewear with Femme Luxe!

What I look for in loungwear

I am a curvy girl and proud! I have an hour glass figure and my bum gets bigger no matter what I do. It’s taken me a long time to embrace my curves but finding a wedding dress really helped me. Being a curvy girl, I look for comfort in loungewear. No one wants to sit around their house feeling restricted or uncomfortable.

I also look for flattering clothes – I don’t like anything that is too figure hugging in any of my clothes, so why would I want that in my loungewear? I like to find loungewear that shows off the best of me so that I can wear it out in public – gone are my days of looking like a bin man walking around tesco! If my loungewear is on point, I feel like I’ve got some of my life together!

Black – yep, I rarely wear anything that isn’t black. I don’t know why I just seem to buy all of my clothes in black!

Femme Luxe Loungewear

I work from my laptop all day long – whether that’s for my Monday-Friday job or for this little blog. This means that I don’t need anything particularly flamboyant to work in, a simple top and bottom that’s a good length and isn’t too restrictive really does the trick for me.

You may remember that I worked with Femme Luxe in the Autumn of last year, I covered them as a fairly new fashion brand and had a brilliant knitwear collaboration with them – find the knitwear fashion post here! Back then Femme Luxe were still starting out and making a name for themselves in the UK blogging world.

Now, only a few seasons on, Femme Luxe are all over the UK blogosphere!

If you’ve ever visited LoveRosiee before, you’ll know that I am not always keen to get myself in front of the camera. It’s not that I am shy but I just feel far more comfortable being the photographer.

However, you can’t have a loungwear post without seeing the loungwear on, now, would it?!

Femme Luxe is a great brand for things like classic knits, affordable loungewear and party dresses. Their brand is chic and on trend while being completely affordable – which means you can add to our wardrobe easily without breaking the bank!

Comfort & Style

The first piece that I tried on for this review is the Katy Set – the ribbed, stretchy and front-tied two piece is what I’d had my eye on as soon as I saw it on the Femme Luxe loungewear section.
Of course, it is black so bang on trend; it also skims, accentuates and flaunts without being too booby or going see through.

This set is so perfect for me and my curves. Something that I’ve struggled with in the past was having loungewear that would be suitable for wearing outside of the house – I verge on looking like a swamp monster on the loose.

However, this belted two piece is ideal for at home lounging and popping out for a bit (note, I’ve not left my house in over 7 weeks).

Classic Loungewear Style

As you can tell, I’m something of a plain Jane in my style, when I find a formula that works, I go with it. With this Femme Luxe collaboration, I wanted to go slightly out of my comfort zone and see if I could get my hands on sets that would suit fellow curvy girls like me!

I’m not usually one for a high-necked top, they often make me look frumpy and like my boobs are a shelf! But this Boxy set is actually really chic on my frame!

This Boxed Set is bang on budget, light and skims my curves. Because it is something of an elastic material, I actually feel like it pulls me in places while letting me breathe where I need to!

Black was my colour of choice but this set is available in a load of different colours – perfect for every season!

Comfort but also the ability to wear this not just while yo’re taking the bin out!
