The Best Halloween Outfits For Your Toddler

Now that your little one is no longer a baby and has moved into toddlerhood, they will have more options on what they can wear for Halloween. And, maybe your toddler will be able to tell you exactly what costume they’d like! Luckily, I’ve picked out plenty of fun options including favourite characters, dream careers of the week, creatures and everything in between. So, don’t sweat the spooky shopping, let me do all the hard work for you.

Superhero Fun

For little dudes like mine, you can’t go wrong with a superhero Halloween costume.

I love Halloween Costumes because the price is right, the quality is great and the outfits are versatile enough that they can be worn all year round to other parties or, you know, a Thursday dinner.

The sizes are great too. You can get lots of wears out of these outfits and re-gift or recycle them because they’ll have a lot of life left in them!

Supermarket Gems

My go-to for toddler Halloween costumes is usually the supermarket. You can bung them in your trolley while you get your groceries and tick lots of boxes all at once.

This is a mixture of my favourites from George at Asda, Tesco & Tu.

I love that supermarkets are now creating outfits for the month rather than just for trick or treating.

This means that we can get lots of wear out of them at our themed classes and play dates.

In my opinion, you can’t beat the quality of supermarket baby and toddler clothes. They last an age, they are less expensive than other shops and they look great!

Temu Finds

I’ve recently fallen down a Temu hole and as a first time Mum, I’m loving their cute bits for my little one.

They have so many cool toddler Halloween bits – not just outfits for the big day.

We’ve invested in a few of their snuggly Autumn & Halloween jumpers for the season, so you may recognise a few of my picks from my Instagram!

Will you be trick or treating with your toddler this Halloween?

How do you introduce Halloween to a toddler?

One way to do this is to connect to something kids already do – like playing dress-up or pretend. Talk with your child leading up to Halloween about how people will be dressed up and how costumes – while some can be scary –aren’t real. Choose costumes and decorations carefully.

How do you celebrate Halloween with a 2 year old?

  1. Host a Halloween Party!
  2. Decorate or Carve Pumpkins!
  3. Make Halloween Treats.
  4. Hand Out Candy.
