Summer finally feels like it’s on it’s way and I am very much looking forward to long evenings in the garden, sunkissed skin and summer fashion. If you’ve ever visited my blog before, you’ll know that I love a good dress. You’ll never ever find me out in public in trousers. The only bottoms I own are pjs! Today, I’m sharing my favourite fashion picks for you for summer…

A few years back, summer fashion was all about statement sleeves. Everything from dresses and beach cover ups to pretty tops were either off the shoulder, balloon sleeved or tasselled.

Many women, like myself, are self conscious about certain areas of our body. In recent years, my arms have felt massive. No matter how many arm classes I do, they don’t seem to want to slim down.

This makes plunging into summer dresses and dainty fashion all the more daunting. That’s why I’m excited to see that bardot is back baby!

Bardot Fashion For Summer

If you don’t already know: bardot fashion means that you dresses/tops are fitted around your bust but have either no sleeves or large, elaborate sleeves that are for decoration over support.

I have a large chest and love my summer style to fit to the curves that look the best. I rarely go for plunging neck lines these days, so bardot dresses really hit many birds with just one stone.

As a midsize girl with big boobs and a big bum, I have some tried and tested brands who I trust to get it right.

I love SheIn, their selection for summer is second to none. Their sizes can be a little on the small size so I tend to size up. Even though their bits are bargains, they go through the wash nicely and last all summer long.

They do ditsy floral like no one else.

I love their curvier offerings too.

A cheeky shop on Boohoo is just what the doctor ordered after a long day at work. Their mix of fabrics and prints will give your wardrobe a new breath of life.

New Look are seriously doing bits already this year. THAT blue bardot dress that you’re seeing everywhere? It’s New Look, would you believe?

For a little treat and a splurge, I love Silk Fred. The quality of their dresses is ideal for my price range.

Lastly, I’ve shopped with Missguided since before it was cool to. They are my home girls for summer dresses.
