The Baby Names Going Extinct From 2023

Ready to see which baby names are due to go extinct from 2023 onwards? I’ve compiled another list from my recent baby name research showing which trends are on a downward trajectory and which funny names will be gone in a few years.

There seems to be one initial in particular that is seeing a decline for boys’ names and that is the letter “K”. But, there are some other surprising names that are also falling out of favour, including:

23. Bradley
24. Kobe
25. Adelyn
26. Joy
27. Kyle
28. Gary
29. Riley
30. London

This means that few parents will be picking boys names like Kyle, Walter and Hugo in 2024 onwards – which is ideal if you are looking for something unique, or could mean your baby stands out in the years ahead.

For girls both Kate and Katherine have fallen out of favour, despite it being the name of the super popular Princess of Wales.
