A Waterfront Breakfast at Gogo’s - Review

Gogo’s Waterfront Restaurant in Windsor might just become your new favourite spot! Nestled beside the Racecourse Marina with sweeping views of the water, this location serves up more than just incredible food—it offers a rejuvenating retreat for locals, busy professionals, and parents alike.

A Menu That Delivers

Gogo’s breakfast menu, available from 9:00 to 11:45 am every day. You can sit by the river and sip iced coffees and deliciously warm cappuccinos and watch the world go by while you decide what to eat.

Start the day right with the Marina – a hearty mix of classic English breakfast favourites that are all top quality. Add a taste of South Africa to your plate with a boerewors sausage – you won’t regret it.

The Spicy Chorizo Scrambled is incredible. If you like your breakfast with a kick of heat, you’ll love this. The peppers and spinach combined with the masses of cheese make this meal a breakfast of champions.

My favourite dish on the breakfast menu is the Beef Short Rib.

When I shared this on my socials, you guys went crazy. It tastes even better than it looks:

spiced rub, cheddar, jus, house made chutney on toasted sourdough.

Every single bite is unctuous and delicious. The chutney is the secret star of the show, the meat is so soft it literally fell off the bone and the cheddar cap makes it super indulgent.

The breakfast menu at Gogo’s has something for everyone – and their eggs Benedict is one of the best in Windsor.

Not forgetting the spiciest and most fiery Bloody Mary. Looking for hair of the dog or a way to start your day with a bang? Gogo’s Biltong Bloody Mary is THAT. It’ll blow your socks off and make you want 5 more!

The Perfect Spot

If you want a place to people watch and enjoy the world going by, Gogo’s is just that.

Often, I wonder down there while Jack is snoozing in the pushchair and enjoy an iced coffee and the peace and quiet.

Gogo’s is a real hidden gem, but it’s busy and bustling – it is the best of both worlds.

It’s the perfect location for brunch dates, a girlie this and yap, work meetings and quiet time. I know I’m going to have a good day when I’ve timed the toddler nap perfectly to allow me to sit and watch the river, answer emails and enjoy the ambience.

It’s rare that such a great place in Windsor offers free parking, but Gogo’s literally does it all. There’s lots of space of pushchairs & highchairs for little ones.

I actually took Jack to Gogo’s years ago when he was weaning and the staff made such a fuss of him in his highchair and offered him bread and snacks – they are family run and so welcoming to people like me!

Christmas At Gogo’s

This amazing location makes for the perfect Christmas party and get together. I couldn’t write a review and not share their incredible Christmas menu.

They offer Two Courses for £29 or Three Courses for £36 and the offerings sound amazing.

The pulled pork apple bon bons have my name all over them and the festive crumble sounds delicious.
