AD: Festival Fashion With Ego

Summer 2023 is upon us! The sun is shining, beer gardens are open and Glastonbury is well under way. Those Arctic Monkeys were incredible last night, weren’t they? Festival season has kicked off with the Mighty Hoopla and, hello, Natasha Beddingfield; it’s time to get your swimwear, festival looks and summer dresses ready whether you’re camping, glamping or going for the day/night.

I’ve teamed up with the fabulous team at Ego to bring you my top festival looks for this summer.

Think: cut-out crochet, little mermaid vibes & body print vibes! Ego has got it all.

Festival Fashion Trends

From crochet to sequins, your summer of festivals will be a colourful mix of confetti, singing and dancing.

The trending looks for this summer include feathers, biodegradable body glitter, retro trainers and colourful wellies. You can expect to see celebrities sporting cut-out summer dresses with cowboy boots and disco ball pants with personalised sunglasses.

I love this bandeau crop top and skirt knit, perfect for going day to night with a colourful shacket and cowboy boots…

If you want sexy cowgirl vibes, this look is for you…

Add a pop of colour with some body glitter and ditzy bracelets!

Take it the night with this gorgeous one-shoulder dress…

These looks are super diverse and you can style them for your big summer travelling plans too.  Team this with some heels and accessories for a holiday evening look that is chic but comfy.

My Festival & Summer Dress Picks

For me, you can’t beat an off-the-shoulder dress that fits but flatters. I also love anything with a slogan and a band-style t-shirt would be perfect for festival nights.

I am all about taking looks from day to night and getting as much use out of them as possible. Capsule wardrobes are back and I have found some perfect Ego picks that can be accessorised and changed up easily.

This cosmic oversized t shirt is perfect for festival glam – simply dress it with cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and you’ll look perfect!

I am seeing this summer dress EVERYWHERE right now! I am not sure if I’m brave enough to pull this off this year but anyone who dares to wear it would get big kudos from me. Love the figure-hugging look on the print and the neon colours will ensure you stand out all day long!

For full festival Shania Twain/90’s vibes, it’s all about denim, and this pick is the best.

I love the distressed hem on this and the cups for extra, hidden support.

The Little Mermaid is influencing lots of fashion this summer and you can take a little of that Disney magic with you to your summer festivals with this beautiful scalloped corset.

Finally, if you want to go full Bridgerton vibes and party like a Queen, this one is for you:

It’s all about being daring, expressing yourself with your outfit and making one look work for the whole weekend this festival season.

PEOPLE ALSO ASK…

What to wear with jeans to a festival?

Ego has plenty of options for you to pair with jeans and all things denim this festival season. But don’t settle for boring jeans, go for distressed, colour washed or white to help make your outfit pop!

What to wear for Glastonbury 2023?

It’s hot, hot, hot this Glastonbury so make sure you stock up on plenty of SPF and lots of breathable and light clothes that compliment each other. I’d advise going for light, boho style dresses, denim shorts and long band t-shirts. You’ll need sturdy footwear so don’t forget your wellies – and your waterproofs, just in case!

Can I wear a maxi dress to a festival?

Some popular festival clothing options include flowy maxi dresses, loose-fitting tops, and shorts. Crop tops are also a great option, but make sure to pair them with high-waisted shorts or pants to avoid showing too much skin.
