AD: Celebrating My First Year of Motherhood With Daisy Jewellery
My first year of motherhood has absolutely flown by. The first year of my baby’s life has been full of ups and downs, the rollercoaster of emotions has been something I could never have prepared myself for. I’ve never laughed so much or so hard and I’ve never felt quite so scared and worried I was doing it all wrong. As mamas, it’s so important for us to reflect and treat ourselves when we can. I am so excited to be celebrating and treating myself with the help of Daisy Jewellery.

Daisy are a brand I LOVE as a consumer and customer. Their ethos and passion is clear in every element from email updates and their podcast to the packaging and hand written notes carefully added to each delivery.
How I’m Treating Myself
These days, I get very little me time – not that I’m complaining. My little shadow comes with me everywhere; to work meetings, to lunches, to the toilet, there’s no time for me. So, a treat that would involve some alone time or some pampering just wouldn’t work.
Instead, I wanted something substantial, classy and that I could show off everyday to represent my first year of motherhood.
Firstly, I knew I wanted to invest in some good quality, niche looking necklaces and I loved the huge range of choice.
I have always worn silver so filtered my view to see only those – but the gold necklaces on offer are also gorgeous, if you have that taste.
Layering necklaces and styles is something I like to do and it allows me to create new looks really quickly and effortlessly, so I went for two longer necklaces and one shorter, iconic one I could wear all the time.
My Daisy Haul
There is just so much choice from Daisy Jewellery, I spent ages going through all of their jewellery and picking the right ones for me. It was so fun to explore their podcast, look at their bracelet and rings on offer. I think a sold silver ring will actually be my next purchase.
In my Daisy haul, I went for the Treasures Rope Bar necklace, the Daisy Bloom Mini Pendant and the Taurus Zodiac necklace.
My favourite thing about this little treat to myself is that I can wear one of my necklaces at a time, layer up on or two or wear all three in a stack – there are just so many ways to wear my little personal presents and feel happy!
Each necklace charm is solid and strong and the chains are dainty but durable. They’ll do well around my soon-to-be-one-year-old and his grabby little hands and brute strength.
Motherhood & My Tastes
While I don’t think I’ve changed too drastically since becoming a Mum, I know that my appreciation for things has definitely evolved. I love anything with a personal touch, packaging that is crisp and elegant has my heart and long lasting products are my go to.
