I’ve Been Featured On Emma’s Diary!
This is a sentence I didn’t foresee myself writing – at least not yet! Would you believe me if I told you that I was quite reluctant to share my pregnancy news with the world? I’ve been the owner and creator for LoveRosiee for over 6 years, this blog has reflected every step and stage of my life for a lot of my adulthood. My blog has been an online diary of sorts, it’s helped me cope and understand things and it’s made me a better person. But my pregnancy journey was something I wanted to keep to myself for a bit longer.
Back in November, I took the plunge and shared my amazing news and the reaction was lovely! You guys have been a wonderful source of advice, affection, and excitement. I can’t thank you enough.
Today’s post is a real pinch-me moment.
Back in December, the team behind Emma’s Diary got into contact with me to see if we could work together on some bits around my pregnancy. And, even though I was reluctant to share certain elements, I’m super proud of our collaboration.
I am so chuffed to announce that I’ve been featured on Emma’s Diary!

Here’s A Snippet Of My Post
… It all starts with the weeing on your hand to get that gorgeous little positive result. Then, your world changes.
I never expected to be a pregnant woman who elegantly floated through pregnancy, making it look easy and glowing at every social occasion. I also did not expect to experience so many fails throughout my pregnancy…
Am I The Only One?
So far, in my seven and a bit months of pregnancy, I’ve met some lovely people who’ve had babies, plenty of new mums and also some lovely ladies who are due around the same time as me (thank you NCT, you lifesaver). From getting to know them and chatting through what’s happening inside my body right now, I’ve realised that I’m really not the only one already getting it so wrong.
If you’re in need of a giggle, this one’s for you – grab yourself a (decaf) cuppa, hot water bottle and settle into the couch – because, let’s face it, once you’re in there, you’re not getting out until someone helps you up!
3 PREGNANCY FAILS THAT MUMS CAN RELATE TO

PREGNANCY FAIL NUMBER 1: UNDERSTANDING MATERNITY & NURSING BRAS
My lovely midwives told me quite early on in my antenatal appointments to switch out my underwired, supportive bras in favour of softer, unwired and less supportive maternity bras. They said the ones with little poppers to breastfeed the baby once they arrive were ideal.
As a big busted woman, I’ve never experienced such lacklustre boob support – I’d gone from va va voom to a landslide of boobage! But the support, or lack thereof, wasn’t the only issue.
When out with my sister for a pub lunch, she wanted to see my new fandangled bra situation. I proceeded to sexily drop my sleeve and show her – with their colossal clips and thick set straps – enough to keep a T Rex tethered down.
Being a good big sister, I wanted to show her my new toy’s capabilities (as you do, mid-roast dinner in a very busy pub). The little poppers are quite stubborn when you’re not used to them, so there I was fiddling with them, trying to get them to unpop thinking: “how am I going to do this multiple times a day when my human is hungry!?” only to release the poppers with such vigor, the front flap fell down and the entire pub saw my nipple.
I suppose I should get used to flashing as I’ve heard it’s an occupational hazard as a new mum but I’m sure I heard one old fella choking on his roast potatoes!

What’s Next From My Blog & Pregnancy?
My baby is due to make their appearance in the not-so-distant future – although I won’t be sharing their exact due date with you.
I plan to share more candid and organic pregnancy-themed content with you for the next few months, while also sharing some lovely guest posts from fellow bloggers who want to work with me.
I would love to cover as much of my journey as possible but I am going to allow myself some time away from reality to enjoy time with my newborn.
I can’t wait to have you on this wild journey with me!
Thank you for your ongoing support, encouragement and engagement – I am so beyond grateful!
