LoveRosiee Turns 6!
I can’t believe I’m writing this but here we are. This month, LoveRosiee turns six. Six whole years of blogging. Wow. That’s over 600 blog posts, thousands of social media posts, millions of flatlay photos, hundreds of photo sessions and heaps of confidence for me. Six years have flown by and my journey has been a rollercoaster, that’s for sure. Today’s blog post is all about strolling down memory lane and showing love to some of my favourite brands and fellow bloggers!
Reflections On The Past Year
The main big change in the last year for my little blog is in my career. Mid-pandemic I found myself, along with a lot of other people, at risk of redundancy. Some serious conversations needed to be had.
Often, when one door closes, another one opens right up and I am so fortunate to say that this happened to me.
In the last year, I’ve moved from account management in the digital world to work in blogger outreach for one of the UK’s biggest and best platforms.
To say that LoveRosiee has gain strength from this is an understatement. Having new knowledge, new challenges, and a new understanding of the blogging world from a different perspective has moved my content and evolved my life as a blogger.

My content may not seem different but I work smarter, not harder. I have always been the biggest cheerleader for blogging but now it’s a whole new level.
Brands I’ve Loved Working With
2020/21 was a tough one. We’ve had a global pandemic to work with, life has changed up for us and blogger things just haven’t gone ahead the way they should have done.
As you know, I should have been married in May last year. It was postponed due to the pandemic. Sadly, it has since been postponed multiple times.
Honestly, I can’t tell you how much wedding content I had ready to go and then deleted. Surprisingly, I turned into the anti-bride and I turned down wedding collaborations with amazing brands because I couldn’t face the questions and the awkward conversations about when my day would finally come. FYI, a year and a half on, I still don’t have those answers.
But, turning things down is sometimes the best way to open yourself up to new opportunities.

I’ve continued to work with a brand I LOVE Mavala. Their collections are some of my favourites and my posts rank ahead of theirs on search engines. You guys LOVE my Mavala content and I plan to keep it coming.
Home has become my everything – even more so than before. I’ve dipped my toe into a few interior style posts and they’ve been received very well, thank you!
I’ve also done lots more guest and sponsored posts.
In the past, I was wary of the kinds of sponsored posts I’d take on. This past year has helped me expand my contacts list, grow my relationships with incredible brands and earn bits and bobs from my writing.

Looking Ahead To Year 6
To think that a side project started in my bedroom would be here now is mind-boggling.
On a positive note, I’ve stopped being so fussy about numbers, my once daily obsession of checking my stats has died down a bit. Social media is important but worrying about Instagram is a thing of the past. It’s important for me to keep it that way.
In recent months I made the decision to take a break from social media at the weekends. It was a struggle at first but it is so needed. My weekends are now filled with fun in real-time and have no worries of FOMO and mindless scrolling.
This year, I’d love to increase the amount of money I make with my blog and I’m working on putting the building blocks in place to make that happen.
Writing when I feel motivated and inspired is the way forward for me, I don’t want to have to force anything because it won’t be my best work.
Photography is still my thing. We all know how I feel about Reels. It’s a work in progress. But I want to concentrate on my photography more and continue to enjoy it!

There are loads of brands I’d love to work with including:
and many more!
Bloggers I Have Loved This Year
Blogging is nothing without the amazing community around us.
I am amazed to see that the pandemic has brought us closer together and the blogging world looks more like it did five years ago than ever before.
The only thing missing is the blogger chats!
A blogger is only as good as her audience, loyal followers, supports and blog friends.
This year, we couldn’t meet face to face or bump into each other at events but we could have each other’s backs online – where we needed it most.
Here are some of my favourite bloggers from year five of LoveRosiee!
Della Loves Nutella – I’ve followed Della’s blog for as long as I can remember. Her content has evolved so much in the last year and she’s really found her voice. I search for Della’s blog every week without fail and her content keeps me learning, reflecting and trying to be a better person.
Jenny in Neverland – Jenny’s blog is saved as a bookmark on my laptop. I don’t even have to type her blog’s URL into my browser on my phone, it goes automatically. I can genuinely call Jenny a friend, she’s helped me out, called my name on things and been someone I can rely on for sponsored posts and deadlines.
Amie, The Curvaceous Vegan – Amie’s blog has been a staple for me for years. I stumbled upon her blog by accident a few years ago and have loved it ever since. I follow her on every social media channel and trust her advice on everything from being more positive, beauty and skincare advice and changing myself for the better.
The Grumpy Olive – this time last year, I was becoming acquainted with Simona and her blog and the love has grown from there. Their blog covers everything but the foodie posts and book reviews are some of my favourite. She’s working hard to be a huge part of the blogging community and I am so here for it!
My Favourite Photo Campaigns
Here’s To Many More Years!
I’m super excited to go into another year of blogging. My writing mojo is back with a vengeance and I’m excited to explore different niches, styles and writing tips to help grow my little corner of the internet.
Thank you, again, for the love, support and engagement that you’ve shown me over the past 6 years, here’s to many more!
