Loves of November

I am so over favourites posts.. I know, shock horror!
It seems like as soon as that magical clock ticked over to November and the countdown to Christmas began, every blogger and their cute little dogs have rolled out their favourites posts. It’s all just the same though, isn’t it?!

Give me the MEAT! Give me all the details. As a blogger and a reader, I am dying for those bits you wont find in glossy mags or endorsed by paid celebs..

So, I’ve taken it upon myself to PIMP the favourites post! I want to celebrate some items that I am genuine LOVING this season as well as shouting out to people I am DYING to catch up with and read in general!

Pimp your FAVES with my Loves of November!

Now, if you’ve ever seen my blog before, you’ll know I LOVE Lee Stafford hair products. I am constantly running into Boots and making my man go insane by packing out my bathroom with their amazing shampoos – not to mention their tongs, straighteners and curlers!

So, it’s only right that my second favourite Lee Stafford Shampoo and Conditioner gets a mention and, yes, you guessed it, the real nitty gritty juice!

Notice I said my second fave shampoo from Lee; I am naturally a brunette with lots of long hairs that are mad and wild and hard to maintain. Lee’s Blinding Brunette Shampoo is my 100% go-to shampoo to keep my locks dark and intense as well as mad and light weight!

The Bigger Fatter Fuller Range is the most beautiful smelling shampoo of Lee’s to DATE! It is so lightweight and doesn’t do that annoying thing where it smells gorgeous but makes your hair greasy in 4.5 minutes. It keeps my hair lightweight and tasselled while also pumping it up so much that there is zero need for styling save for flyaway hairs and bad weather conditions.

My top tip for this game changing shampoo and conditioner is the ultimate lazy trick. I usually wash my hair as normal with the products then towel dry my hair. Meanwhile, sit in my towel and dressing gown on my bed contemplating life and all my future entails for around 48 minutes.
Then, once my hair is drier but not bone dry, I simply plait or braid my hair in as loose or as tight a style I prefer and sleep with my hair done. In the morning my lion’s mane is good to go. It’s big and wild but tame and healthy. Win win!

The meaty juicy gossip on this one?
I was the shampoo through my hair twice, only condition the ends for as long as possible (usually as long as The Little Mermaid soundtrack goes on my phone) and rinse with as hot a temperature of water as I can handle. Then right before I am about to escape the shower for my towel-sitting ritual I literally BLAST my hair with ice cold water! It makes my locks look ridiculously shiny and glossy and it is so worth the pain!

Lypsyl will always have my heart! When it comes to lip saving treatments, literally nothing beats a scrub of my lips with a toothbrush then smothering them with all the beautiful Lypsyl flavours!

This new super cute idea is one that had me like “oh my God, how did no one think of this before!?” It’s so simple but so cute! The Lypsyls in almost all of their beautiful flavours comes in a tiny compact, mirror and all.

So handy for everyday use and travel. I am forever paranoid about stuff in my teeth or looking more ridiculous than normal but with this idea from Lypsyl, they got your back, always!

Top tip? All of Lyspyl’s lip balms are SPF 50 – super important for looking after yourself and your lips are the key to keeping young. Once your lips get that taught and liney look – it’s down hill for age defying and looking your fabulous self! I am also all about sun care in your most sensitive spot like your hands.

My mum has always told me to protect my hands on the daily to ensure no liver spots or skin damage happens and in turn that will make your skin look older as well as being damaged. So, if I have blemishes on my hands I usually wipe a little of the original flavour of Lypsyl on it and moisturise with a hand gel that has a high SPF. It ends up not going sticky and protecting myself!

It Really Works.
Wait. Did I just HEAR your eyes roll? ‘Cos when I got an email about these little pills – same!

My relationship with food and dieting is well documented on my blog and my social media.. and it’s a bad one. I am forever trying to lose that one extra stone while also wrestling with the love of spaghetti and meatball sandwiches. I am always yoyo-ing between being happy with how I look then feeling like utter crap. I bloat like no one’s business. I can drink peppermint tea all day long and sometimes still have the most bloated tummy. Other days I look so small and trim I feel myself all day.

I struggle with contraception and the major side effects it has on my body. I am a hormonal mess at times and other times I am so high on life that nothing can get me down. When due on, it’s normal to crave mostly carbs but at this point I think I may be just a walking carb.

So, when I received an email from It Really Works Vitamins, I though, what the Hell, literally like what the Hell do I have to use!?

Along with my daily diet of (usually) low-ish calories propped up mostly by broccoli and fruity green teas to detox, I tried the pills.

Possibly it may be too soon to tell but I do not feel bloated. You need to ingest a lot of water with the pills so you will be burning calories running back and forth to the toilet! I am having a good experience of a suppressed appetite as well as feeling quite motivated to stay healthy.

My real problem is however, it’s bloody boring to diet! I mean how boring is chicken that isn’t fried. And no pasta!? I can do it for agesssss then it gets to a point where I’m like, I need a KFC or some Pesto or something. So, while these pills do work for a short time, it’s not long term!

So, have you liked my down and dirty twist on a Faves post!?

I LOVE the Lee Stafford range! The only product that comes close to how good the Lee Stafford stuff smells is Loreal Studio. Haven’t tried this range if it though!
