Temple Spa: My Skincare Heroes

In skincare, some brands are iconic. These brands will end up in your online basket, in your beauty drawer and on your skin often without a second’s thought. One of these iconic, skincare hero brands, for me, is Temple Spa. We’ve missed the spa during the multiple lockdowns but Temple Spa are bringing it home this season. Check out my skincare heroes…

Who Are Temple Spa?

Temple Spa are iconic for many reasons. One of them is just how long they’ve been around. For the last 21 years, the husband and wife team who founded the business have taken Mediterranean influences and used them to create luxury skincare products for all.

They believe that your body is a temple, so you should treat it as so with all of your skin.

Their ethos is all about looking like you, being natural and having good skin health. As a brand, they are very spiritual about your soul health and how that is linked to what you put on your skin and how you speak to yourself.

To me, Temple Spa are a little slice of luxury. Smooth creams, thick and luxurious moisturisers, lotions and potions that are a little slice of heaven.

My Skincare Heroes

A handful of Temple Spa products

Well, where do I start? Temple Spa do just so many different products that I love but here is a highlight reel.

Moisture To Go

First off, let’s all agree that the minimalist packaging with the monochrome branding is pure goals.

As you know, my skin is combination. From one minute to the next, I could go from breaking out to super dry and all the way back to oily. It’s a rollercoaster. Now, at 28, I know how to treat it and what to do on days when it makes me feel down.

Moisture To Go was created for people like me. It is your soothing balm on dry areas, moisture hits in the places that need it most and balanced formula for the oily parts of your skin and neck.

It feels like velvet, it is pure and soft on skin. It is infused with Mediterranean ingredients like tomatoes, grapefruit and olive as well as being packed full of all the vitamins your skin needs to glow and look healthy.

My skin literally drinks this lotion in. I use it every single day, often twice. It’s perfect for my post-showered skin after a long day at work and often after a long run.

Repose Relaxing Night Cream

Temple Spa's Anti-ageing night cream

At the grand old age of 28, I trust a good night cream. If 2021 taught me anything, it was that stress presents itself on our bodies and in our faces without us even knowing.

Since then, I’ve embraced a good quality night cream. I’ve used some hardy ones from Nivea, ARK and Mavala.

Recently, I’ve been using Temple Spa’s Repose night cream every night for a few weeks and my skin feels really calm. Every night before bed, I have been lathering it on and letting it settle into my skin. It goes on like pure silk. As soon as I smooth this cream into my face and neck, my skin feels soothed and calm.

The cream is thick without being gloopy, it settles in gently without feeling oily or chalky.

I love this cream because it is filled with essential oils like lavender, chamomile and bitter orange.

It’s a dream night cream for my skin.

Instant Cooling Balm

Temple Spa's Instant Cooling Gel

Shocker: this cream is not for your face. It’s a cooling and moisturising cream for feet and legs.

Guys, summer is just about to hit and my pasty pins need as much care and attention as they can get.

While I no longer work on my feet, I do get sore toes, tired feet and achy legs from my at home workouts and, well, life.

This muscle relieving cream is perfect for a lovely foot massage and calf-time. At the end of a workout and post-shower, I gently rub this cream into my feet and bottom half of my legs.

Gentle and creamy, it doesn’t leave any kind of oily residue and it really acts fast on aching joints.

After a long day in the sun, I’ve applied this to my legs and it has left them feeling smooth and cool.

So, there you have it. My top three skincare heroes from Temple Spa.
