Lockdown Skincare – ARK Skincare

So, it’s what, day 38684838 of lockdown. The novelty of wearing no bra to work from the island in my kitchen and being able to sit in my garden on lunch has well and truly worn off. I am ready to see real faces – in 3D and not on House Party and my skin is ready for some breezes, the rain and the sun. Well, you may have seen my recent ARK Skincare fist impressions posts – now I’m here to give you some clear skincare guidance and advice!

Hands up if your skin is kind of dry, kind of oily and definitely not very happy? Count me in!

Well, with ARK Skincare, you can get every kind of skincare that you may need all with one brand. I’ve found that many products in their ranges are good for skin of all ages and have really given my skin the boost that it has needed!

I’ve been using:
Skin Essential Skin Protector with SPF30 Primer every single morning. I usually give my face a good, cold wash after brushing my teeth each morning and gently towel dry it. If I do not apply any sort of lotion on my face, I will be cracking by 9:30 am. Recently, I’ve been slathering on this luxuriously thick cream all over my face – putting focus on my T zone and my neck.
My skin has been really happy and not dry all day – even with the amount of time I’ve spent rubbing my eyes from stress!

I am using the super handy pump applicator Age Protect Skin Vitality Moisturiser every single night after my shower! This pump is super handy, it’s actually a little game changer for my evening ritual. This cream smells incredible and it is super gentle on skin.
I usually pump it three to four times and warm it up in the palm of my hands. I then roll it over my neck from the bottom to the top (to discourage skin stretching downwards) and melt it into my skin. A little goes a long way and I roll the remainder of the product up over my chin and into the rest of my face. It goes on super smoothly, softly and you don’t need to work it in. The first few times I used it, I could genuinely feel my skin drinking it in!

I know what you’re thinking right, you’ve only got one face, how much creaming and moisturising can you do? This is true – however that was my daily skincare routine using ARK Skincare.
Now let’s talk about the stuff that I’m doing not on the daily that is really helping my skin.

The Skin Perfect Hydration Injection Mask I use once a week in my big shower. It’s usually midweek and it is super easy to use. As soon as I put this mask on, my skin calms. I am having a problem with sore eyes right now (probably due to being so tearful) and the skin around my eyes is kind of dark and sensitive. This mask when applied really soothes that and leaves the skin feeling plumped.
You only need to leave this mask on for 5 minutes if you’re in your twenties and you will instantly see the redness of your skin go down!

I love ARK Skincare, I honestly do! They are really helping me to keep my routine up, keep my skin fresh and reap the benefits of not having to wear make up everyday!
