Long Hair Don’t Care / Tangle Teezer

If you were to ask me what my life goal was I think you’d laugh at my response! Life goals = be a mermaid. Mermaids have it all, shell bras, freedom of the sea and most importantly, amazing hair. Ok, ok so maybe being a mermaid isn’t my life goal (it’ll have to go some way behind paying off my mortgage, marriage and babies sadly) but mermaid-life can be my hair goals! I have long, brown hair and it gets everywhere. I mean, everywhere … I’m gonna hint at the gross bits but girls, in the shower, ya know what I’m talking about. My hair also gets really tangly and damaged from me yanking it and styling (blogger problems 101 right there). My hair is damaged from heat, winter winds and general and unavoidable life. It’s a nightmare! So, when I was approached by Tangle Teezer to feature them on my blog, I jumped at the chance and my hair is creaming Thank You!

Now, I’ve heard so much good stuff about Tangle Teezer generally in the blog world and I have been waiting to get my hands on one for a little while. I am however, a worry wart for want of a better word. These bad boys are not expensive but I am always and forever worrying about what my hair does, is this thing going to help it, am I going to make it worse.

I know, I sound like a bore but honestly my hair is so sensitive and grows thinner or falls away with the slightest hint of stress. I love my hair and I want to keep it looking nice and healthy – so shoot me!

I chose to go for the Wet Hair De-tangler because I always find that that’s where my tangles at either worst. This brush is AMAZING! It is so bloody good at everything you’d ever need for hair care and maintenance! I use it when my Aussie shampoo is lathering in my hair. I comb it through from root to tips and it distributes the shampoo so beautifully. It gets to places I didn’t know weren’t being washed thoroughly enough. Its prongs are nicely spaced apart for good coverage and are the right amount of hard-ness on your scalp. You know when you need a good scratch of your noggin? That’s basically what this does, sorts out that niggling itch and spreads your shampoo beautifully!

It takes all of the tangles and knots out of my mane and makes it so much easier to wash out the shampoo! I, along with so many of you, suffer with dry ends and oily roots but with the In Shower Tangle Teezer brush this problem is basically all but stopped!

I then go ahead and condition my ends. I rinse the brush thoroughly with the hot shower water and brush the conditioner through my roots gently so as not to break any hair.

I’m in love with this product! It has found a happy home in my bathroom and is used every single time I wash my hair, be it in a very quick shower or in a long, relaxing bath. It is so simple and quick to use that it’s quickly become a rally key part to my beauty regime!
