This week I have been testing out something AMAZING. As you know, I am trying my hand at doing some skin care posts so this next feature fits just perfectly in there! This little something is a beauty and skin care helper and I was lucky enough to receive it as a gift from lovely people over at Magnitone when I joined in the Bloggers Hangout Christmas Twitter Party just after Christmas. I received the gift last week and you can find out what my first impressions of it were HERE.
So, I’ll get right to it! You will be pleased to hear that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. It is so compact and light so easy to handle. It is completely waterproof so I’m actually using it in a lovel long hot bath as an extra hit of pampering! It’s easily chargeable and easily store able. I was lucky enough to pick the colour I wanted – and being me, obviously I was going to go for pink! And doesn’t it look beautiful?
I try to be as fair as possible when trialling products – especially on my little blog, because I want to give the most real account of the product. So, I took my time using this product. All in all, I’ve now been using my Magnitone for just over a week. And I have absolutely zero complaints!
I entered this week with the mother of all ear infections and a massively cold. If you are anything like me, your skin will be the biggest sufferer when it comes to having a cold! My nose was dry with flakes of skin coming off from over zealous blowing, my skin was scaly and tired and I was just a puffy ball of snot. I was looking gross.
This for me was the lowest point of my look, so I thought, I’ve read lots and lots about the supposed amazing Magnitone, let’s see if it can mend some of the damage from my cold.
So, I ran myself the hottest bath I could take, charged up my little Magnitone and reached for my favourite Simple face wash. While I relaxed into my bath I dampened my face and took care of my hair. Thankfully, the little machine is super easy to use – because by that point I was ready for a snooze! So, I just popped the little button on the front and went for the first setting of constant vibrations. I lathered up my face with my Simple face wash and let the little buzz of the Magnitone work its magic.
The handy thing about this little contraption is that it beeps in 60 second intervals to let you know how long you’ve been buzzing away for. For me, I tried to be as thorough as possible so it took me around 2 and a half minutes to get my entire face buzzed, buffed and polished.
Immediately after I did this for the first time, my skin felt so much better. My skin was still dry and damaged from the cold but it was much softer and smoother.
I continued this routine daily for a week. Because the Magnitone is waterproof I used it in the shower and as I was brushing my teeth. The waterproof element is so handy!
So, after a week, my cold has mostly gone, my ear is still painful but I am mostly back to normal. And how’s my skin? It is buffed, preened and glowing! It is plumped up and feel so soft and refreshed. After just a week, my skin has changed completely. My scales have gone and my tougher skin has softened. My skin, although still sensitive, is soft and non-reactive and sore.
I could not be happier with my little experience with my very own Magnitone. I ADORE it. It has completely changed my every day skin care regime without adding anything to it. A little buzz for two minutes and my fave is buffed and ready to go. I always follows my Magntione routine with a good old moisturise from Soap and Glory’s Butter Me Up!
