If there’s one brand whom I go back to time and time again, it’s Nivea. I’ve worked with Nivea as a blogger for years and I am well looked after. This month, they could tell that I was getting bored with having zero prospect of a spa day or some down time. So, they sent me a lovely bumper pack for an at home spa. A Life Update

We’ve all been stuck in and out lockdowns and in and out of limbo for over a year now. We’re all in the same boat and it sucks. But that doesn’t stop us wanting some time away from it all. I personally would not allow the C word (COVID) to be spoken on Christmas day.

Personally, I’ve had to postpone my dream wedding twice. I was made redundant in the first lockdown and changed my job at the end of the summer. I’ve missed out on so much and continue to shield on doctors orders.

I’m not worse off than anyone else but man I’ve had some days where I’ve felt like a lovely spa day would help to recharge my batteries.

Nivea are the masters are knowing just what is needed to turn a normal Tuesday night into the ultimate pamper session!

On Nivea’s checklist, these were the instructions:

What I Was Sent

Hyaluron Cellular Filler Day Cream

This incredible anti-age day cream is brimming with hyaluronic acid and elastin booster. This cream is luxurious in texture and fast acting. It works itself into any of your lines and wrinkles and gets to work instantly. Created to give your skin a more plump and elastic look overall, it ticks all of the boxes.

Super soft, a little bit goes a long way. I like to use this cream on trouble areas such as my neck and around my eyes. It takes no time at all to warm it up between my fingers and it smells like a dream. This day cream has got to be my new favourite Nivea product.

Hyaluron Cellular Filler Night Cream

Along with the day cream, Nivea’s new night cream is amazing. Just as creamy, just as hard working, this night cream is an absolute win for me.

I highly recommend Nivea for their night creams – no matter your age. I am 28 and believe in prevention rather than a cure. This night cream is a pleasant surprise as, in my opinion, it does the job of multiple products in one.

As with the majority of Nivea’s creams and lotions, you do not need a lot to see a real difference.

I apply this night cream after my evening shower when my skin has been washed and dried. You can feel the skin on your face and neck drinking it in straight away. It really does plump your skin over night.

I love this product, it’s my new favourite from Nivea!

Sculpting Cryo-Sheet Mask

If you’ve read my blog before, you’ll know how much of sheet mask lover I am. But this new one from Nivea? Phew, where do I start!?

For best results, Nivea recommend that you keep this mask in the fridge before applying. This mask is a one stop shop to firming your skin. It’s like going to get filler in your face. The cool, gel mask adds layers of hyaluronic acid into your skin and injects it with moisture and filler right away. No syringes needed!

I used this mask of an evening and my skin felt soft, plumper and moisturised for days afterwards!

Nivea Bath Cream

I love nothing more than a long, hot bath. Throw in a large glass of red and wine and lots of drops of Nivea’s bath cream and I could be in there all day.

Nivea is famous for its creams and this indulgent moisture, relax cream is one of the best. It smells so gorgeous, it’s floral and light. The cream easily covers your skin without creating a barrier. It cleans without needing to be scrubbed. It moisturises without needing much work. It’s so many products in one!

Cherry Blossom & Jojoba Oil In Lotion

This is my top lotion/oil that is non-greasy. I settles into my skin really well without leaving any kind of residue. It smells lovely and really lifts your senses. I love to use this lotion after a hot shower in the summer. My skin may have seen the sunshine or been out in the garden and it needs some TLC. This is the perfect lotion for that.

Nivea Hand Cream

My hands have never needed a robust hand cream more. We’ve all been washing, washing and washing our hands and the stress upon that delicate and sensitive skin is easy to see. My nails are much thinner and the skin around them gets sore quickly now.

Nivea’s beautiful hand cream is a lovely on my skin. I actually have a tube next to my laptop on my desk. It’s not greasy and it wont leave your hands feeling slippery when you next need to type.

Not only does it smell lovely but it really works on my skin!

My Spa At Home

To say that I’ve been enjoying some mini at home spas using this product is an understatement. I now embark on full evenings sometimes once a week where I must not be disturbed. I lock myself away in the big family bathroom and let my mind wander to other worlds.

Thanks to Nivea, my brain feels a lot happier and so does my skin!
