5 Things To Look Forward To This Spring
This past winter has felt like the longest on record, hasn’t it? Punctuated by lockdowns, social distancing and self isolation, I don’t know if we’ve ever craved Spring more. Luckily, the first signs of Spring are here! I’m cheering up your timeline with my special list post: 5 Things To Look Forward To This Spring!

With Spring comes much better times! Not only will more adults across the UK be vaccinated but some of the COVID restrictions will be slowly lifted too. It’s a double whammy, not only will we (hopefully) get warmer weather, we’ll also be able to enjoy it in closer proximity to the people that we love!
Here are the top 5 things I’m looking forward to this Spring…
Lighter mornings & evenings
It’s a well known fact that I am a summer girl through and through. I love the idea of Autumn but when it arrives, I always want to turn back the clock.
Spring on the horizon means the sun will soon be waking us up each morning. No more dark meanings more energy, more excitement and better health all round.
Longer evenings basking in the sun means pub garden sun downers, closing the laptop early on a Friday to chill in the garden and bbqs that feel like they last a life time.
Spring Fashion Trends

Like you, I’ve been living in loungewear and elastic clothes for what feels like the longest time.
I am so ready to wake up in the morning and throw on a summer dress. Spring can bring me maxi dresses, midi dresses, tops with casual skirts and sandals.
The dresses can still be loose and elastic – as long as we’re comfy, that’s all that matters!
Spending Time With Family & Friends
I’ve missed my family a lot during this third lockdown. We’ve done socially distanced walks but the weather hasn’t always played ball. I miss hugging my mum, laughing as a group until we cry.
Spring should bring us some more normality and, more importantly, more time with the people we love.
Spring means meeting outside will be fun – picnics in the park, bike rides to the river, walks with a tin of Pimm’s. Bliss
Easter

We’re not massively religious in my house but Easter is a great excuse to go all out, buy chocolate gifts and have a huge family roast dinner.
Easter for me always makes me feel as Spring has really sprung. I am praying for warm weather so that I can do an egg hunt for my boyfriend (he’s 34 but who cares)! I’d love to spend Easter Sunday in my garden reading a book and listening to the radio!
More Light & Time For Blogging
If you’re not a blogger, I guess you won’t be bothered about this one. If you know a blogger, you’re related to one or you’re one yourself, you will know how exciting it is when the days go on for longer.
Longer evenings means that blog photos can be taken later, shoots can be longer and that golden hour feels like three.
When it’s dark outside all of the time, I just want to shut my laptop after a long work day, jump in the bath and watch a movie.
In the Spring, my motivation soars, my ideas grow and my time management becomes better. More time means better content, which means more growth and more potential for collaborations!

What are you looking forward to this Spring?
