The Best Apps for Social Media Growth

Hello you lovely lot. Welcome back to another helpful growth blog post on LoveRosiee. As you will know, my blog is dedicated to showing the best ways to grow your blog channel and social media pages – with a bit of skincare, beauty and lifestyle thrown in there for good measure. You may have seen my recent blog post on The Best Apps for Blogging – this is the next instalment on how you can best grow your social media following and growth!

Blogging & Social Media
These two beasts go hand in hand. Yes, of course you can happily blog without the use of social media but these amazing channels are a great way to spread the word about your new posts and get people to see your pages! They are as important as each other and a rule of thumb would be to ensure that the themeing and branding of your blog is communicated well between both social media and your blog channel. Make it fluid, make it quick (google page speed is your best friend) and make it relevant!

Instagram
Instagram is a channel that will have lovers and haters – and those like me that flip flop depending on the time of day. There’s no getting away from it, though, Instagram is a great tool to help you be seen and grow your following.

I use my Instagram channel to many things:
> share my latest blog post
> unbox brand new blogger mail
> share fellow bloggers’ content
> show the personality behind LoveRosiee with my Stories
> grow my audience
> follow fellow bloggers or pages that inspire me

You’ll have heard it over and over again but, truly, the best way to grow your Instagram following and engagement is to use it as it was designed. Instead of simply scrolling through latest Stories, scroll through your feed and engage.

Like, comment, share, like, comment, share!

The competition on Instagram is insane and even micro-bloggers like myself have insane photography skills, flatlay ideas, props, selfies and fashion links! Make sure that your content is relevant, of good quality and is a good reflection of you and your channel!

Twitter
When used correctly, growth on Twitter can be rapid! As a blogger, content in the written form is close to my heart. I love to write, I enjoy leaving comments on amazing blog posts and I love being able to write to someone that has inspired me. All of this you get with Twitter.

Twitter can be great for growth if you are clever. Using tools like Buffer and Tweetdeck (more of which you can find out about in this post) you can schedule your content ahead of time – meaning you are left with time to engage and chat organically and naturally.

With Twitter, conversations are key. There is no need to randomly link drop and pelt promos out there for all to see – it’s spammy and ineffective. No, with Twitter it’s all about the personality. On Insta, you might be perfectly put together, curated and still. On Twitter you can share how tricky it was to get that shot and more of the real you.

Back when I started blogging, Twitter Blog Chats were massive. Sadly, these are a thing of the past. But you can still grow very well using Twitter. You can join comment pods, link drops and chat about trending topics!

TikTok
Lockdown has brought out the TikTok in so many! If it wasn’t massive before, it is now! I know car bloggers, beauty enthusiasts and mummys who are addicted to it and who spend all day doing dance challenges, baking and creating content for the this channel alone.

You can grow quickly with the right of content – be that sexy dancing in your kitchen, blogger mail unboxing or doing pranks. It is a little harder to keep your branding fluid with TikTok but growth is growth!

If you use all of these apps correctly and following my advice, you will be growing in no time!
