When I started blogging over five years ago, Instagram was the place for tiny squares of stylised snaps, Twitter was your hub for all things blog content and Facebook was for friends.
Over the last few years, things have changed. A lot. Instagram fast became THE place to post your content and try out different styles. But the traffic conversion from Insta to your blog was ALWAYS low.
Twitter became a toxic place, cancel culture became the norm and things like comment threads, link shares and blogger chats were non-existent.

Since the first lockdown, there was a real jump in what us as content creators wanted from Twitter. We changed it up, all on our own.
Now, every single day of the week, you’ll be able to find blog comment threads, sharing pods, link swaps and hashtags to help you grow, grow and grow!

The best and easiest way for you to grow your blog using twitter is by joining blog comment threads.
Every single day, if you’re following the right brands, posts and bloggers, you’ll be able to join in on a blogger comment thread.
My Top Comment Threads & Top Tips
Here’s a list and times of my favourite threads. These are my favourite because they ALWAYS result in blog views, genuine engagement, low bounce rate and, obviously, great blog comments!
The Clique – @theclique_uk
This blogger RT page has a comment thread every single week day that begins between 8am and 9am.
My top tip: set your blog post live as early in the morning as possible so that you can share this new link in The Clique’s comment thread.
The Cosy Bloggers Club – @cosyblogclub
Another RT blogger account, just tag them in your tweets to be shared to their 4.5k followers. Their blog comment threads consist of specific ones for blog comments, social media following and things like WordPress bloggers. You can join these chats from 8am in the morning on weekdays.
My top tip: be on it with your time keeping: be one of the first to share your blog link to ensure that as many people as possible see it and engage with it
A Blogger Hosting A Thread
Kayleigh Zara – @kayleigh__zara
Kayleigh is a blogger, like me. She’s an amazing pillar of the blogging community on Twitter and creating a blog comment thread was a no brainer for her.
She usually posts her comment threads from around 7:30am on weekdays and 8am on weekends. This girl never sleeps, I swear!
My top tip: return comments on as many posts as possible. The point of these threads is engagement. Don’t just drop your link and leave. Be proactive and begin commenting on other blogs straight away!
Bloggers Hut – @BloggersHut
Another RT account but with a larger following. Tag them to be shared among their 12.3k followers. Bloggers Hut are different from the rest as their blog comment threads begin at around 4:30PM on weekdays. An excellent opportunity to share your latest content if you’re more of an evening tweeter.
My top tip: Add: “returning all comments” to your tweet. This will encourage other content creators to leave you a reply as they feel that they’re getting something from it. But make sure you do go on to return those comments – no one likes empty promises and your reputation in this industry is EVERYTHING!
Bloggers Required – @BloggerRequired
Bloggers Required is actually an influencer and brand marketing platform. They’re your one stop shop for gifted and paid opportunities. More recently, they’ve been using their huge 10k following to engage with. Their comment threads were on Wednesdays each week at 12pm. However, due to the huge engagement, they’ve recently decided to hold them every weekday from 12pm. Winner!
My top tip: let other bloggers know you’ve loved their comment once you’ve dropped them a comment. Sometimes just an acknowledgement that you’ve commented will suffice, however, be open to adding what you loved about their post – we’re a community after all!
A Bonus Account
Merry | Monodreeame – @monodreame
Another blogger and another 9am comment thread. Merry is fairly new to the game which means your posts won’t get lost in a sea of larger bloggers. If you want some genuine engagement and really lovely comments on your posts, this is the one to join!
My top tip: don’t feel like you need to join these threads every single day. We aren’t content machines, there’s no need to churn out posts for fear of missing out. It’s still all about quality over quantity!
