The Perfect Destination Wedding & Honeymoon
You may have noticed that my blog has taken a bit of a different turn these last few months. I’ve gone a bit Royal Wedding, Wedding Fair and Nuptial mad! Being from and living in Windsor, the Royal Wedding love is a given. My beautiful leafy town of Windsor will be home to the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May. It’s enough to send any girl into a Princess Wedding spin. My beautiful sister is also planning her wedding for (hopefully) next year too – so you can imagine I am loving life!
More About Me…
As a teenager, one of my first jobs was as a waitress at one of Windsor’s swankiest hotels for their Weddings. you can imagine, these weddings were fit for Royalty! The job was my favourite ever, even now at 25 I look back wishing I could be a wedding planner!
It also meant that I spent a lot of time finding out what I’d like or not like for my big day .. if it ever arrives. Cough cough to my boyfriend!
And, you know what? I’ve always wanted a Destination Wedding!
If Money Were No Object…
Yep, if money was no object I would look up the cost to rent a private jet and take myself, my boyfriend and maybe 30 close family and friends away and get hitched where the sun soaks our skin, the booze gets us tipsy quickly, and we wake up not knowing what day it is.. doesn’t that sound like perfection!?
Where, then, would I go to do this, if money was no option? Well, there’s so many places that have romantic connotations, that are cliched for weddings.. but that’s not my style!
I picture places like St. Lucia, the Bahamas, the Maldives or Dominic Republic! A beautiful hotel, all inclusive, right on the water, a place where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves in the heat!
So, what? Curiosity killed the cat. It also helped me plan my future destination wedding! I present to you: Destination2.co.uk – the website I’ve been trawling since October last year for my ultimate Wedding destination and one for my sister too!

Destination2 has amazing prices to fit all sorts of budgets and it’s given me such a kick to look into what I’d really like for my big day and where I’d like to celebrate those nuptials afterwards! You know me, I am sun seeker! I’m all about beach holidays..
