The Things You Need To Shop For In Primark When It Opens TODAY!

Grab your handbag, get your mask, pack your hand sanitizer. It’s time to get your butt to Primark. Lockdown restrictions are easing and our favourite bargain spot is officially open for business. But, before you hop in the car, make sure you check out my top picks and the things you NEED to shop for in Primark when it opens TODAY!!

Regardless of your budget, you can’t beat Primark for the basics and things like underwear, bags, sunglasses and headbands and accessories are the tip of the ice berg. Thankfully, months without any Primark shopping is finally over and they’re opening with a bang.

Ready to see some of my favourite trends and products for you to look out for?

Gelato Inspired Colours

Yellow Together Print Sweater

Coral West Coast Print Sweater

Spring and summer is the time to hang up all of my dark clothing. While my Autumn/Winter wardrobe is shrouded in dark colours and layers, Summer is the opposite.

This year, Primark has lots of lovely gelato and pastel inspired bits in store that are perfect for long, hot BBQs and sun downers where the sky seeps into pinks and oranges.

Summer Whites

White Broderie High Waisted Trousers

Ivory Stripe Tiered Maxi Dress

White Textured Puff Sleeve Dress

Cream Crew Neck Maxi Dress

Much like pastel colours, white is the best way to show off your tan this summer!

It’s great that Primark have changed up their fit and shape for lots of their dresses. In my opinion, the Cream Crew Neck Maxi looks like posh Christening and after party to me!

Denim Dreams

Blue Wash Ripped Straight Leg Jeans

Light Wash Cropped Wide Leg Jeans

Beige Cropped Flare Jeans

Denim never goes out of fashion. During the worst of the pandemic, our denim bits might have been neglected but this summer, Primark is serving us all of the denim dreams.

My favourite picks are always jeggings. Jeggings are a step closer to real clothes but still that elastic waist band, you feel me!?

Ditsy Florals

Black Print Crepe Shirt Maxi Dress

Grey Puff Sleeve Spun Midi Dress

Floral Smock Mini Day Dress

Floral Print Green Tiered Mini Shirt Dress

Floral Frill Mini Skirt

Blue V Neck Knit Vest Top

If you’ve ever visited my blog before, you’ll know that I am a ditsy floral kind of girl. For me, you can’t go wrong with floaty dresses, wrap dresses and girly prints.

No matter your style, they are so easy to dress up or keep casual. Add a denim jacket to look chic. How about some wedges? You’ll be good to go all day and all night.

Some of my favourite picks include wrap style skirts which are perfect for my curvy body shape. Usually, this style highlights my curves while keeping the bits I don’t like everyone to see hidden from view.

Let’s be real here; we allll know that Primark shines when you’re there in real life. Online is just not a scratch on the store, but these picks are still top of my list.

A few other trends that I’ll be loving from Primark this year are:

  • Summer blazers – even though I now work remotely full time, I love a duster jacket and cropped blazer. Primark are rumoured to have some gorgeous cuts and styles coming this summer
  • Grown up gingham. There was a hint of this trend towards the end of last summer and let me just say, here and now: I am here for it. Gingham is no longer old fashioned or just for gorgeous tiny girls.
  • Maternity. OK, so I’m not yet in need of maternity bits but I’ve seen sneak peeks of Primark’s summer maternity bits (my favourite is a gorgeous dungarees set) and I have to say: I’m massively impressed.

Remember, when you pop in store today (or one another day), be safe, keep your distance but, most importantly, be kind and courteous to the staff. No one likes a rude customer!

What are your Primark picks from my list?

Are you planning on going shopping?
