Be An IKRUSH Babe!

Who wants to be an IKRUSH Babe?
I for sure do! I am a summer dress, sandal and comfort in the sunshine girl and IKRUSH smash it when it comes to all of that! I know I am not the only one who ends up feeling self conscious, vulnerable and a little on the tubby side when that big old ball of blazing sun shines down, forcing you to don your summer clobber and expose your whitest bits to the world! Summer can be daunting for yourself and your body image! But IKRUSH have managed to tick all the boxes…
fashionable – check
comfy without making you look like a cute potato – check
affordable – check
able to show off your best bits and keep your mental state happy – check

You need to be an IKRUSH babe like me!


While I am not very comfortable in front of the camera – which you may already know by taking a peak at my Instagram and blog; when it came to working with IKRUSH I thought, to Hell with it, embrace your curves and help others feel comfortable and maybe a bit braver!
I love the way IKRUSH designs and makes their clothes. It’s no secret that I am on the curvier side of life – I have massive boobs and a very big bum, so I will never be a stick even if I wanted to be – which by the way I don’t! but to see and work with a brand who really appreciate the real and natural curves of a woman in her twenties is a refreshing change!
If you were just to scroll through the IKRUSH website or their #goals Instagram, you’d be able to see how much they appreciate and celebrate women of all shapes and sizes!


I always find that you can never find the perfect summer shoe for actually walking in! When browsing IKRUSH I could have put 4757372 shoes in my basket and had a properly comfortable summer walking with zero blisters! Girls, you know the pain!
I always go for sandals and pumps in the summer, it is so easy to dress outfits up and down with these two staples in footwear so it was a no brainer when I picked a beautiful pink and glittery set of summer pumps for my Summer styling post with IKRUSH!


I cannot tell you how amazingly comfortable these pumps are! Not only are they super stylish and on trend, they are always the pumps I leave by the front door to whip on when I leave the house.
The blush pink and golden glitter adorning them really compliment the whites, pinks and golds in my wardrobe already! They have plenty of breathing room and they don’t make your feet smell! Amazing for when you just need to kick your shoes off and dance in the fresh cut grass with a Pimm’s in hand!


Now let’s talk about the Evie Floral Shirt Dress! I am loving florals for summer and pinks! When I spotted this gorgeous shirt dress on IKRUSH I absolutely HAD to have it!
The reason it jumped out at me straight away is that I know what style suits my size 12 figure and A Line dresses, cinched in waists and skimming lengths past my thighs are my go-to for summer!


The style of this dress really shows off all of my best bits while still being fashionable and fun!
The first day I wore this dress was when we had that huuuuge heat wave in May/June and the material helped keep me cool while still feeling covered and not vulnerable to showing off my white wobbly bits!

Would I class myself as an IKRUSH babe after one outfit post and 274737 awkward outfit shots in my garden holding a Magnum!? Nah, probs not. BUT IKRUSH has given me that little boost of confidence I have needed to get back on the fashion horse, start feeling more comfortable in front of the camera, in my own skin and shopping for summer style!

That’s an amazing feeling and I am finally happy to share it with you all!
