PMD first impressions

When it comes to beauty, skincare must come first. It sounds silly but the amount of people that I speak to who don’t understand their skin, its reactions and why it isn’t looking so good even with flawless make up application. Skincare must be taken seriously – if you’ve ever visited LoveRosiee before, you’ll know that I take it seriously and I like to help others! Today’s I’m going through my first impressions of PMD’s Clean cleanser!

Here’s a little background on PMD!
PMD are a massive skincare brand with an ethos that I love – good skincare for everyone and completely led by the customer and their needs!

The company started just over a decade ago and wanted to be at the forefront of creating and selling skincare gadgets and tools to help users glow and grow!

Their tag line is #brilliantconfidence and let me tell you, it’s only been around ten days or so but I am on my way to feeling that already!

First Impressions
Like I said above, I have only been using this PMD Clean gizmo for around ten days so it is still kind of early days to make any sweeping assumptions.

With skincare, and being female, it’s always good to remember that these things go in cycles. How can you know that a product you’re reviewing is any good if you don’t use it for the same amount of time. For example, in my cycle, I have around a ten day period where my skin flares up just ahead of coming on. If I were to test a new skincare range in this time only (and not knowing my cycle well enough) I could end up giving it a false and misleading review.
This is why I like to try to test and trial things for at least four weeks before sharing my thoughts with you lovely readers!

The product
This wand is durable, fixed and ergonomic all in one. It uses SonicGlow technology and a tried and tested at a perfect frequency of 7,000 vibrations per minute, it is said to have the ability to tone, balance, cleanse and boost your skin to encourage a youthful glow.

A key part of any skincare regime is exfoliation and this wand is absolutely perfect for deep, gentle exfoliation – even in the shower (my favourite place to exfoliate!)

It is completely antibacterial and there is no need to replace the head – what comes in the post is all you will ever need!

The plastic knobs are easy to move with your finger but work to get deep down into your skin without leaving it scratched or red raw.

It also comes with a stand which is handy for bathroom storage.

The verdict
Whilst it is still early days, I will admit that I am chuffed with how my skin looks using PMD!

My skin is happy and healthy looking. It does feel tighter and more plump from generous amounts of loving. This photo was taken two days shy of the breakout season due to hit my face so I cannot wait to do a photo comparison when that time comes!

I’ve been using PMD in the shower each evening just to gently buff my skin and encourage any dead skin to fall away under the hot tap. I’ve concentrated more on my jaw, chin and neck area than I normally would (6 weeks of looking at my potato face on Hangout calls is enough to show me my double chins!) and my skin is feeling happy, bright and plump!
