Since March 2020, I’ve barely had the need to slap on a full face of make up. Don’t get me wrong, at first I embraced it. Office Rosie no longer existed, the early mornings to apply layers of make up was no longer needed. The pandemic raged on and the need for make up vanished. But then, something in me changed. I like to this use this cream daily, applying it each morning before I set up and start work. It works as a great pre-primer or as a base if you’re dashing on a little bronzer to give yourself a spruce.

If you want your make up to stay where you apply it, you need to invest in a good primer. But that doesn’t mean that you need to break into the piggy bank.

I trust elf’s £8.00 Matte Oil-Control Primer. My dry patches drink this primer up while my oilier areas take to it like a duck to water. It’s the perfect remedy to my skin.

I’ve seriously got this foundation in four different shades – it’s my transitional treat!

Bronze & Blush

Recently, I’ve become more aware of sustainability in beauty and skincare. If I can use a single product for multiple uses, I am all for it. This equals less packaging, less waste and less of a carbon footprint for everyone.

I am 10000% a bronzer girl. I love nothing more than looking golden, sun kissed and like I’ve just had a long day at the beach. But, you’ll know that I am also passionate about SPF and sun protection. This means that it takes a lot to get my pasty face looking bronze.

Lashes & Finishing Touches

I don’t know about you, but I never feel like I’ve got make up until I’ve curled my lashes and whipped on some black mascara.

I prefer a mascara that is buildable and can be dressed up or down depending on my mood or outing.
