A Celebration Of The NHS With Nursem
How are your hands feeling right now, as you read this post? Are they feeling cold, sore and a little dry? Our hands have been through A LOT this year; they’ve been washed, disinfected, dried over and over again. Our hands have suffered but they no longer need to! Today, I wanted to introduce an incredible skincare brand who celebrate the NHS and donate lots of things to the NHS! Today, it’s all about Nursem!
Who Are Nursem?
Nursem are an incredible skincare brand that was born on a nursing ward! The founder of the company is a nurse who personally suffered with sore, cracked and bleeding hands from her job and keeping her patients infection free. She worked with her husband to create a formula that soothes skin but, importantly, can be applied multiple times a day without adding to irritation.
The brand is loved by nurses and health care professionals for its results and they work closely with the NHS.

I was lucky enough to be gifted two items from Nursem, here is a break down of them!
Hydrating Hand Cream
This hand cream is super thick and feels very luxurious. It absorbs really quickly into your skin and you can feel it getting to work straight away.
It feels really soothing – I’ve been using mine religiously on my hands and they feel soothed even when my hands feel like blocks of ice. They feel smoother and when I rub this cream in (which is easy because a little goes a long way), I heat my hands up a little and gently work it into my muscles.
This cream has lots of Vitamin B5 and Allatonin within the ingredients, so you should start to feel your hands feeling softer almost instantly. These ingredients are perfect skin conditioners.
Caring Skin Fix
This little tub is for people with persistently dry and sore skin. I’ve used the product a lot but I’m going to donate it to my lovely mum who has worked all the way through the troubles this year doing jobs that affect her hands and I know her results will be great!
This product is suitable for sensitive skin which is great – when my hands are sore, they feel all the more sensitive and sometimes adding a cream can be the worst thing to do. That’s not the case with Nursem, every product is carefully formulated to help skin and not irritate it further.
I feel like this little tub of miracle cream helped to calm my red hands really quickly – my hands go bright white or blood red, depending on what is going on and as soon as I applied a generous amount of this cream to my hands, they calmed down within minutes!
This cream has lots of Hyaluronic Acid in the ingredients so it’s perfect for regeneration – another reason why it would be perfect for nurses and midwives!

This skin care product sounds really lovely and I know that in the healthcare field they are required to wash their hands constantly. Just the washing I do in my household makes my hands so dry I can only imagine having to wash them every few minutes for new patients and procedures. This product seems like it would really hydrate and nurture skin back to health. Definitely worth a try!

Ohhhh, these sound fabulous and what a fantastic company! I suffer from dry hands a lot in the Winter because even before COVID, I constantly wash my hands. I’ll have to try this!
