Alternative Advent Calendars ’17

When the Christmas spirit rolled round this time last year, I thought I’d stumbled upon the coolest Christmas bits ever in my Alternative Advent Calendars post! You can find it by hitting this link. But now, one year on, the Alternate Advent Calendar has gone WILD! There are so many amazing brands, online and on the high street all the way to high end, that have pulled out all the stops for 2017!
So, here are my top picks.. ending with the one I have (already) begged for!

John Lewis.. well, Mr Lewis. Haven’t you done well this year! For £105 you will be opening a door each day of December to miniatures of your favourite brands like NARS, Marc Jacobs and MAC to help aid those Winter blues. From beauty to skincare and all that lies in between, you’ll be running down the stairs every morning to see what’s behind the next door. It’s THE calendar that the beauty obsessed will want this year!

L’Occitane’s luxury advent calendar is exactly that – pure luxury! L’Occitane being one of those companies you can guarantee will make anyone smile, one you can depend on for luxurious products every time – and their calendar doesn’t disappoint. For only £89 you will be treated to sample sizes and miniatures of perfumes, hand creams, shower and bath products as well as cleansers, shampoo and conditioner. Oh, Matalan I love you! The home of bargains, the best home ware and , well, basically a treasure trove of happiness for me. Lose me around Christmas time? I am usually in my local Matalan, stroking the fluffy pillows and organising their monogrammed stockings!
For only £12 you will be opening doors to nail polishes, make up bits and selfie props. Definitely one for the bargain bloggers out there – like me!

Ok, so I am a little bit of a Make Up Revolution addict. Their Unicorn Elixer highlighter gives me liiiife and I am all about their Renaissance Glow Palette is my ultimate! I heard a rumour that this here advent calendar has 3 (count them, 3) baked highlighters as well as loads of cute mini faves for your face, eyes and lips. You just know that with MR you are guaranteed great quality and the miniatures go so far! With the cute extras like a travel mirror, the finishing touches are some of my fave for 2017’s Advent Calendar stakes!

The Body Shop advent calendar is so amazing but I’ve had it for 3 years now and it can be so repetitive, lovely selection though 🙂 xx
