Antipodes Skincare | New In
If I had to pick one stand out brand for me and my blog this year it would have to Antipodes – hands down! We’ve worked together a lot this year and every bundle that arrives on my doorstep is better than the last! Today I am dedicating some time what’s new in this month!
This month I’ve been trialling the Grace Gentle Cream Cleanser and Make Up Remover and the Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream!
Any sort of face cream that also doubles up as a make up remover, in my opinion, is a game changer! I wear make up pretty much every day but a light amount just to make me look less dead – however, even a small amount of beauty product requires correct removal and skincare.
Grace by Antipodes is exactly what’s in the name. Gentle. It’s super gentle on skin, it smells amazing and it isn’t chalky or clay like as I was first expecting. Antipodes recommend this product for daily use and while I was testing it, I completely switched out my other normal make up removers for it. I was worried at first that it being cream like, it might clog my pores rather than remove any dirt.
It did the opposite. It is super nutrient rich and the avocado oil gives it a luxurious but natural feel!
I simply apply a blob the size of my thumb print to a muslin cloth and swipe in circles on my eyes and neck. It removes make up really easily with no stinging or oily residue and my skin as a result has been feeling really healthy and also really moisturised!
The Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day cream smells incredible and has left my skin feeling very happy and healthy! This is also recommended for daily use and I’ve been applying it each morning before applying my make up. I simply use a pea sized blob, warm it up between my fingers and rub it in slowly to my face and neck!
The vanilla smell is lovely, it’s one of my favourite scents and it doesn’t smell artificial or too sweet. It also has some Sauvignon Blanc grapes in there – one for the wine fans!
I am loving using all of my Antipodes bits from this year but these two creams are my new favourites by far!
