Nailing Christmas with AEG

It’s finally here!
The season where you’re allowed to eat and drink as much as you want, sing out loud and dance ’till you drop. The season of giving, good will and love. The time of year when family is the most important and magic is in the air. My FAVOURITE time of the year! And finally it has arrived to LoveRosiee. Well, actually, you’ll know if you follow me on Instagram that it arrived in November!
Yep. that’s right. In November I was invited by Currys PC World and AEG to get a slice of Christmas Magic early!
Here’s how they, and the amazing Cookery in Hertfordshire, taught me how to nail Christmas!

It’s all about the food in my house at Christmas. In November I was invited to the Cookery by AEG to rustle up my own Christmas Dinner with a twist! I cook the dinner in my house and I love it, but  I know for some people it can cause mega stress! With AEG and their INSANE ovens (I already want one but not as a Christmas gift, ladies ya feel me!?) Christmas is made easy!

We were totally spoilt at the event, given drinks nibbles – the lot! It was like Christmas day came early!

We were taught simple hacks to make Christmas work for you and new ideas I’d never think of but are super easy. We were walked through making things like Vegetable Wellingtons – delicious; and Mince Pies – super easy, who knew!? The foods and meals were all super simple to make and so easy to eat – ya on the same page!?

The thing that helped us nail Christmas Dinner was the use of the amazing AEG equipment. Ovens that clean themselves; ovens that both steam your turkey and crisp the potatoes at the same time; ovens that can prove your pastry for your Mince Pies. I mean, there’s literally nothing these ovens can’t do!

With the help of the temperature probe and large oven space, it made easy work of cooking huge lumps of meat from Turkey to Beef. You’d easily be able to feed your entire family in one oven without the classic Christmas juggling of meats, cold and hot foods and those naughty people trying to steal bits of the meat when you’re not looking!

We feasted like Kings on a full Christmas Dinner made by the amazing people at the Cookery and the brilliant AEG Ovens. Each element of the dinner was perfect – my Mum couldn’t have done better!

The potatoes were perfectly fluffy while the carrots and parsnips were roasted to delicious perfection – no soggy or hard sprout in sight! The show stopper is, of course, the meat. I t was tender and juicy while being full of flavour and cooked right through. I do not know how they managed to cook Christmas dinner for 20 people plus that was so perfect and not over cooked, burnt or under done.
Those ovens man!

After absolutely stuffing our faces, we were taken to the Taste Of London Event in the Tobacco Docks. If weren’t ready for Christmas by then, when we left we were full on Elves!

The Taste of London was amazing. Busy, insane and full of food and all the wine.. magnificent! The entire event felt like a massive Christmas meet up propped up by cheese tours, mulled wine areas and live music! It was seriously amazing!

I am now super confident that I will be able to Nail Christmas this year with all the coking tips we got from AEG, Currys PC World and The Cookery and my first big purchase of 2018? Yep, an AEG Oven that steams and cleans itself!

Merry Fooding Christmas!
