An Introduction To Olsson Hair Care

My hair and me are two peas in a pod. Everyone has a part of their appearance that is most important to them; some people have brilliant blue eyes, some have naturally flawless skin. For me, my hair is my best feature. It’s long, it’s healthy, it’s naturally super dark and it is my favourite thing about myself. I really try to look after my hair but when I get offered opportunities to work with new brands that promise great hair care and salon quality, I jump at the chance! Today, I am buzzing to introduce Olsson Hair Care!

Who Are Olsson?

Olsson are a hair care brand dedicated to delivering hair care (be that shampoo, conditioner, mousse, hair spray and everything in between) that is perfect for people, like me, with sensitive skin and sensitive hair. They are designed to help people who have itchy scalps and struggle to find hair products that don’t irritate them or make their hair look lacklustre.

The formulations were formed from three years of development between salons, professionals and chemists.

Olsson are allergy certified as “unlikely to cause a reaction”.

Smells, Scents & First Impressions

When I first read that this range would be scentless, I won’t lie, I didn’t believe it. I’ve tried all kinds of hair care products from all kinds of brands and every one that has promised zero scent and protection of sensitivity have not delivered.

Honestly, I was expected a faint chemical smell that is not altogether unpleasant. When I popped open the caps, I was shocked to see that they really didn’t smell of anything. Nothing. No plastic smell, no chemical smell, just air.

I was gifted some shampoo, conditioner, spray leave-in conditioner and hair spray. So far, I’ve used them all but it’s only been a short amount of time – once the bottles are finished, I’ll be sharing a full run down.

But for now, I am really pleasantly surprised with Olsson. The shampoo and conditioner are scentless, they feel kind more like gel than shampoo and they are completely clear.

The shampoo foams in your hair but only slightly.

My hair feels instantly clean when I wash out the product.

The spray leave-in conditioner so far has been the real game changer. I’ve been spraying it in my hair after every hair wash (usually every 3 days) and my hair instantly is easy to brush and style and it feels soooo clean!
