Antipodes | Healthy Lipstick Review

Summer is here and I am the happiest girl in the world! The sunshine gives me so much love, my sun-kissed skin gives me buckets more confidence and I am feeling even more experimental with beauty and hair!

This week I was lucky enough to receive some of the new Healthy Lipsticks from Antipodes new range! While not usually a lippie girl, hearing that these lipsticks were “healthy” I had to give it a go!

Straight off the bat, you can see just how pigmented and pretty these lip shades are – they just scream summer!

But a Healthy Lipstick? What does that even mean? The tag line (as you can see above) is “… you could almost eat me”.

And it’s true. These beautiful Antipodes lipsticks are made completely and utterly with natural, healthy and edible ingredients which makes them super safe to wear! They are also enriched with plant based oils which means that they moisturise your lips and keep them plump and happy while being worn!

This is great news for a girl like me. I have mountains of matte lipsticks that I simply do not wear anymore because they turn my lips into dinosaur skin. I can confirm that these lippies from Antipodes do the OPPOSITE!

They are so smooth on application, almost juicy in how they make my lips feel, they have great staying power and they are also not too stubborn to remove!

These lipsticks are also certified for vegetarians which means that only natural oils – like avocado oil and evening primrose oil are inside! The only animal by-product used in the entire range is wax from bees!

Lastly, these lippies come in the classic Antipodes packaging and are just a site for sore eyes. When it comes to beauty, you KNOW that I am sucker for gorgeous packaging and Antipodes certainly deliver!

I am taking time to explore more beauty like the brilliant example that Antipodes are setting – more of this in my beauty life, I can’t wait!
