Nuts About Palmer’s!

Recently, I burnt my arm – nothing serious but an angry red burn and then scar appeared on my wrist that was unsightly and sore. Not only was I upset about the pain – I actually heard my skin sizzle when it came into contact with the oven rack – but I was upset that such an ugly looking welt had arrived on my wrist on my left hand.
Palmer’s are a brand that pride themselves on their creams, lotions and potions and on their formulas helping repair scar and stretch mark damage. So I decided to put them to the test…

Palmer’s are one of my favourite brands when it comes to holidays – I know I go on and on about holidays but Palmer’s have always been a key part of my summer love and holiday safety!

Everyone my age knows the smell of their delicious cocoa butter moisturiser – it literally brings back some of the happiest memories of girly holidays away in the Sun!
So, when I saw the new Coconut Range from Palmer’s I was really keen to put it to the test and see if it was not only any food but as amazing as the iconic cocoa butter range that I buy loads!

Coconut is such a distinctive scent and it instantly makes me picture long summer days and feeling super healthy and Sun kissed!

The Coconut Oil Formula range is just fabulous! I was lucky enough to receive lots of items from the range and each one smells better than the last! I was lucky enough to receive:

Conditioning Shampoo
Repairing Conditioner
Coconut Sugar Body Scrub
Coconut Oil Body Lotion
Deep Conditioning Protein Pack
Body Firming Sheet Masks

I literally hit the Palmer’s jackpot!

An honest blogger through and through, I have waited a little while to write up this post. You can’t do an honest review on something you’d only had a whiff of or used only once.

So, in the last few weeks I’ve exclusively used the delicious smelling Nuts About Coconuts Shampoo and Conditioner on my locks; I have only used the body scrub in my bi-weekly exfoliate; I have switched out every other body lotion for only the Palmer’s one and I’ve sheet masked and deep conditioned as if I live in a Palmer’s heavenly bubble.
And I have zero regrets – except that I am already getting dangerously close to having some empties on my hands!

I pride myself on always being honest on my blog and that means that sometimes I have to brutal and harsh. Sometimes I have to give an opinion that is controversial and sometimes I am not liked for that.

Today, however, is not that day!

It’s safe to say I absolutely LOVE everything about this Coconut Oil Range! It is luxurious in scent, feeling and texture. It is thick and soothing without being greasy or overpowering. It is perfectly scented without being overpowering or headache inducing!

And what of the awful and angry looking scar?

It’s all but gone in only a matter of weeks!
What was once red, bubbly and uneven and sensitive is now the palest pink colour little slit on my arm that vaguely glistens in harsh light. The bumpiness has gone and it has settled into a neat little scar that I am hoping will shrink even more as I lather it more and more in Palmer’s Nuts About Coconuts moisturiser!
