2020 Skincare Hero Brands
2020 was the year that my passion for skincare exploded. With the new pressure of staying at home, maskne and stresses added to our lives, my escape was through skincare. Talking about skincare. Writing about skincare. Learning about skincare. I wanted to dedicate today’s blog post to my 2020 skincare heroes!

Ark Skincare
For the duration of 2020, I worked with Ark Skincare. They came to my attention when I spotted Hayley Hall mention them at the start of the year. I managed to bag myself a spot on their mailing list and since then I’ve been a part of their virtual events, reviewed many of their products and completely changed up my skincare routine to incorporate their bits.

Ark became a firm skincare favourite of mine because of their amazing ethos. Their products are never tested on animals, they use bioactive ingredients in all products and they treat skin by age and skin concern.
For me, it can be so tough to gift skincare because of allergies and, well, trying not to offend anyone. With ARK, they do all of the hard work and let you take the credit.

ARK are a hero of mine because of the diversity and range of products that they offer. I am in my late twenties so the creams, serums and spritzes I use is growing year on year.
With ARK by my side, I can protect my skin, smooth it out, clear blemishes, make it stronger and glow with every one of their products. They aren’t a massive corporation who have lost their personal tough either. You can chat to their consultants virtually and face to face.
I use at least 3 ARK Skincare products every single day.
My top products right now are:
Nursem
I am not alone in saying that 2020 was hard on the skin on my hands. The endless hand washing, anti-bacc’ing and stress wrangling put my hands through hell.
However, there are people whose hands will have had it much worse. Nurses and front line workers hands will have been abused by 2020.

For every hand cream that is purchased, they match that and donate them to nurses in hospitals up and down the UK.
Since using Nursem, my hands feel so much happier. They are less sore and no longer look angry and red. There is no sting but my skin tells me when they need some Nursem loving!

A brand like this deserves huge recognition! I was fortunate enough to be able to donate some of these products to some nurses and front line workers that I know before this third lockdown hit!
Nivea

I am very proud member of the Nivea family – and have been for over a year. The Nivea family are huge and super supportive.
If you’ve ever visited LoveRosiee before, you’ll know that I am an avid Nivea fan. I buy their bits for myself regularly and always gift my friends and family their items for birthdays and Christmas. They work so well for my skin and their products are some of my favourite.

In 2020, Nivea did something amazing. They scrapped their previous cleansing wipes and brought out a whole new range of biodegradable ones.
Nivea have set the example for so many large brands and long may their reign continue. These biodegradable wipes work and I’ve used them multiple times since receiving them in October!
PMD Beauty

My skin has seen some sights this year. Being cooped up indoors, having to postpone my wedding and lots of stress and tears left it a little worse for wear.
When I was was introduced to PMD Beauty, I found a treasure trove of goodies that would help to bring back my glow.
PMD are your ticket to gorgeous, buffed and glowing skin with their Clean Body face cleanser. As you can see above, I use this cleanser a lot.
I suffer with build up in my T Zone and it can make me look really uneven. Even the most expensive make up wont cover it. PMD is the only product hardy enough to work it out without leaving the skin red and sore.

PMD became a saviour for me because their products can be used in the shower and the battery lasts an age! It has made my skin go from bobbly and uneven to plump and smooth!

Do you have any skincare saviours from 2020?
