Skincare Review: Green People Nordic Roots Range

Well, this is exciting, isn’t it? A new range from Green People that is inspired by Nordic lifestyles and trends. Who Are Green People?

If you don’t know already, Green People are a UK based skincare company who are the trusted as a fully natural organic skincare brand.

With a promise to never use aggressive ingredients or synthetic chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, alcohol (ethanol) or synthetic fragrances or colourants, and to never test on animals, Green People was born.

You probably remember Green People from when you were a kid. Although I never really suffered with any kind of skin sensitivity issues, my mum had a bathroom drawer filled with lotions and potions from Green People. their formulas were perfect for our infant skin whether that was on holiday, after a fall on a graze or just to soothe it after a hot bath.

Nordic Roots Hyaluronic Booster Serum

This serum is a dream. It is fast-absorbing and leaves skin nice and hydrated. It gives your skin a real bounce-back appearance after only a few uses.

While I’m only 28, I am aware that my laughter lines are getting deeper. I’ve been using this serum for around 13 days now and my lines seem less severe. When applying a full face of make up, the beauty products no longer sink into those lines and pronounce them more than needed.

The Nordic soothing vibe is easy to see in this product. It’s smooth and soothing and it will enhance your skin tone. Whether you’ve got redness, blemishes or unevenness, you’ll look all put back together within a few uses.

Nordic Roots Marine Face Oil

I know that lots of you are still not 100% sure about face oils. I’ve got combination skin so adding oil to it seems counterproductive. But, if you’re using the right kind of face oil, like this one from Green People, you’ll see just how much it makes sense.

Atlantic Seaweed is laced into this oil and it supplies collagen directly into the skin on your face. It gives your skin the look and feel of renewed firmness that lasts for days.

I use this oil after every shower. I gently rub it between my hands to warm it up and then apply it from my neck upwards. The oil smells lovely, it’s not overpowering or too fragrant. It doesn’t sit or gather on your skin, it melts into your pores without leaving any kind of residue.
